Hey bud, with all those electric connections, you might want to add a bit of Dielectric Grease helps with eliminating coronation. Also helps keep water out of those connection's Keep a tight line. Luck luck to ya 🎣 🎣 🎣 i

Nicely done - the ultimate build indeed! You're definitely the envy of many kayak owners; it's been interesting to see you go from the humble beginnings of a very "basic" kayak to tournament-grade equipment. I screamed with the rest of your viewers when the toad became unbuttoned! 🙁 Otherwise, it really was a perfect day. (Those ducks are lucky they aren't in a Chinese restaurant LOL!) Right on great to see Obe again ,this was an Awesome video Greg. The new Titan is AWESOME and I think you should get a trailer and make that your tournament boat , just for the larger lakes. You could use the 10.5 for tournaments on the smaller lakes. Can't wait to see the video from the camera guy. Thanks for an AWESOME video Greg.

Great video (as Always), but I have a question, Greg... Why is your "Tilt Bar" on the NK300 turned around to the front? (I finally got my Titan X 12.5, with the same Newport Motor, and it's like "Night and day" different than my Titan 10.5 'Yak...! And... a LOT Heavier with a 55 Amp 36 V. battery in it. Had to put it on a trailer!).
Greg- would the 360 fit into a yakattack style paddle holder ? So when you bring it down and push it back towards the side of the kayak you can clip it in too. Just a thought. Might be hard to mount that in the right vertical angle. Probably over kill. 🤷♂
Greg! . Definitely got some takeaways for what I have done to mine. I like how you pull your motor up, you run the line long, to pull it back efficiently. I think I am going to do that but add an extra pully at the farthest point forward. Styrofoam is a great idea. Lots of dead space between the battery and crate. However, that is the best placement for the battery. Bro, great walk through.
If you have to buy everything from scratch, it gets pricey quick, but if you can reuse, it's not that bad. I had to get a trailer so that took mine over the top, can't hoist that bad boy on the jeep

Awesome job rigging out the 12.5 and catchin a few out of the bigger boat! I never noticed the way your Ketch board was mounted to your sidekick cross bar before. Is that a manufactured mount or something of your own design?

Looks like you gotta have pretty good handyman skills if ya wanna kayak fish always something to attend to. And thankyou for a bit more motivation your always out on the water & we all know if your lines not in the water you aren’t catching anything. Had a day off & our lake just hit 100% full lots of cover & yep it’s that I’ve of year finally caught 2 fish one pretty small & the other a real nice one a bit under 2lbs & by the looks of his tail is probably a male on a bed. I have a Nucanoe F10 and it’s great because of the versatility. I bass fish, troll for deep water Kokanee and I’ll use it for duck hunting. But I’d never actually had my eyes and hands on a TiranX until last weekend when I stopped by the new Scheels up here in Idaho. The thing that really jumped out to me was the overall build quality. Everything seemed so solid. The grips on the handles, the latches on the hatch, everything was just purpose built. I’d definitely consider the TitanX 12.5 if I ever decided to get into tournament fishing and I wanted a setup like this one.
Thank you! nav lights in description but nothing in the rear per se. Have the Yak-attack 360 light though that goes on the gear tracks for those early morning launches
I’m an electrician and I must say Im very impressed you chose that drill. I have the same one for my everyday but it’s awesome I use the chuckles adapter when installing ceiling fans so the chuck doesn’t scratch the wall. I love how you set the torque and it works perfectly when working on my yak or friends I keep my torque set to 8-10 and then finish off with hand driver
Such an awesome vessel dood. I will always favor your slayer max because I got to watch you grow a lot in that boat. One day I'll get the titanx but tbh as long as I'm fishing I'll be happy and that's a fact. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

How did you splice or add the connector for the throttle control? I see you have a quick connect for that at the rear. I would like to be able to take my motor off with out having to pull the wires for the throttle control.

Almost 3 years ago, watching you fish from a kayak is what spurred me to get an ultralight canoe to fish from and it has been my best decision. It's the easiest for me to handle, transport, and just throw in the water and go. Emphasizing what gets you out fishing more and what makes it easiest to get out is really what sold me. If you can eliminate excuses for getting out, you'll find yourself fishing as much as you should have been in the first place.
who knows, like i said in the video - whatever gets me out there fishing conveniently and efficiently will be my go to. Kayak just happens to fit the bill right now
How much did the addons costs? Almost get a bassboat for that price? Wondering if i want to get a fishingkayakk (this one or Old town bigwater) or a bassboat to start with. Can have max 25 hk motor without boat license here. Kayakk it is easier to take with you, just for fishing a little in the day to fill the freezer a little.
Man everytime i see these builds the first thing i think is "One day i'll be able to afford that kayak" Just bought a hoodoo voyager as my first pedal drive kayak (2nd kayak ever). Eventually i'll get myself a expensive one though i gotta be able to afford it first lol
I'm debating about that kayak. I'm a 100% disabled vet and not sure if I have the endurance for a pedal kayak. But the option to add a motor is great which is what I'm looking for
Heard a rumor that Romel actually helped design the new Titan X platform. Not sure if that’s true, but given all the rigging options included in the base platform I suspect the rumor is true.
Greg, could you do a video on your foot steering and provide a source to buy it? I have the Native kit and i'm not a fan and want to get something better built that slides smoother. thanks!
