I actually ran a one shot campaign like this. It was just two people (which is how I came up with this idea) and they were fairly new to dnd. Needless to say they had a blast, and actually managed to get a lot of gold out of it.
I had this movie on VHS and I watched it constantly. The music was and still is catchy, the animation always grabbed my attention, and I still love it. As an adult, I can pick up on more of the jokes, and that just makes me love it even more.
The only complain I have is that the characters themselves didn't sing the rest of the songs and I think it would've been better judging from how good this song was
I adore how Tulio and Miguel's incredible chemistry makes this scene feel like a Whose Line Is It Anyway game of Show Stopping Number or Song Styles:):) Just imagine Drew, Wayne, Greg, Brad, and Chip dancing around them:):)
So fun fact: Elton John and Randy Newman are the lyricists for the song. Newman has done many songs for Disney especially songs found in Toy Story, Monster’s Inc., and a few more movies.

I cant listen to this song or even watch the movie anymore without thinking of Calvin Fischoeder from Bob’s Burgers and same with Bob’s Burgers, I can only hear Tulio, and sometimes I will think of Phoebus from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Thanks Kevin Kline for being wonderful.
Not the person who uploaded, but from what I can find researching there was a special cast and crew edition of the soundtrack that was never released to the public with the movie versions of the songs. However, it appears a few copies made their way to Amazon sometime in 2016. That might be where they got this, or from someone else who snagged one.
Yeah except the Aztecs when they treated people like gods, it meant they were going to sacrifice them in the festival. 😅 The belief was that the gods sacrificed themselves so humans must continue the custom to maintain the cosmic order (aka social hierarchy, in layman's terms...).
