that NSU was audis atempt at motorcycles in the 50s... before they where even audi... fully restored that bike is worth thousands... thats actually a solid deal... yammie noob once again proving he knows nothing about project bikes
That NSU thumbnail got me to watch your video. That engine is quite a curio. The camshaft housing rotates as the engine warms up to maintain consistant valve clearance. Inovative company later became VW in 1969
The NSU is an amazing motorcycle. A machine that technologically sophisticated could not be economically manufactured and sold today, and even back then it was high priced.
i'm not even sure i'm entirely into motorcycles but you're pretty funny and charismatic in a way i love, ill give your music a listen, i like it so far :)
Good to see a video from you, been awhile! Glad to see your recovery is going well - I'm going through a similar process due to a similar, recent accident. Listened to some of your songs, and although it's not a style of music I've listened to a lot or probably would, I did like the song Carlsbad. For me it was haunting and had some soft, deep noises that you'd had to close your eyes and really listen (which I did), and it reminded me something from my childhood. My dad (awesome guy, got me into motorcycles) has a decent vinyl collection and one of them is War of the World's, and he played it one day when I was a kid. The record was not only music but also a narrative but the music in that record was similar to your Carlsbad: futuristic, haunting, and with a bit of curiosity. It's crazy how random moments in a person's life can transport them to a memory even if that wasn't the intention. That's what your song did, it brought back nostalgia about something I haven't thought of for many years. Thank you.
I'd actually love that nsu, from the looks of it it seems that it is really only surface rust and the body could be easily rubbed down and resprayed, not hating just saying
You forgot to mention that NSU has the original California plate from the 1960s, and that's a plus because you can likely register that bike with that plate in California if you still have the pink slip (title) But if the bike doesn't come with a title, yeah it's junk.
Mmmm super pocket bike! I never had a super pocket bike but I had a couple of the bigger 50cc 2 stroke automatic (CVT) pocket bikes and they were fun as shit. They'll even rip little power wheelies when tuned right
Dude, if the fenders and tank are solid on that NSU, they alone would be worth that price. Are you so into new shiny motorcycles, you are unaware of motorcycle history? Velocette, Ariel Square Four, CZ, Mammoth? Bultaco? These are what we refer to as cool motorcycles.
Yammie, good to hear that you might be twisting the throttle in the near future. Since you are close to hitting 200K subs and you are a moto vlogger, might be time to get back in the saddle.
Italjet actually makes these racing scooters that are hilarious, they made a 250cc version that actually goes quite fast, and yes, they are stretched. They are literally racing scooters. Ciao dall'Italia 🇮🇹
Those nerves coming back alive I see? Isn't that just the greatest when you try as hard as you can to lift your hand backward and it wont move? Or you can curl 25lbs but if you turn your palm down with a half empty water bottle your wrist goes floppy like a dead trout.
I have been looking at craigslist around where I am. Basically if I want anything running I have to spend at least $1500-$2000. Ninja 250's are more expensive than SV650's. I don't understand.
Fuck that was a clueless statement about the vintage bike. Not even worth anything because it's rusted? Oh yeah I guess I'll just throw away my 1940s Indian because it has a bit of surface rust
I’ve got a couple of those Motobecanes and that one is worth no more than 750 CAD in the condition it’s in. Down in Cali they are a dime a dozen too so the dude’s insane lol.
Yammie I have been watching a couple of your videos, and although I’m still quite young I have a set plan of riding when I’m older. I have ridden on my property before but I have one major problem when I’m starting and your on your ‘L’ plates I don’t have anyone to drive with and I need experience to get my full licence and I don’t wanna spend $4k on bloody lessons... help me how do I find someone to ride with to get experience
