Hey so the lycanthropy question. It depends are we talking like fantasy dwarve, or like little people dwarfism*, it also depends on the nature of lycanthropy in the setting. Is it a curse of druidism or divine (devil/god), or is it some natural disease, viral or parasitic in nature? Does the castor or creator have a sense of humor?
