So when are we all going to bring a class action against garmin foenall their Bullcrap? They still advertise as dexcom compatible on their webstie... no support to be found.

Thank you for all the information. I agree that the hype is not what I expected. I find it interesting that all the high end Garmin/Dexcom videos have comments turned off. I can say that the Dexcom and G7 on the brand new 965 Forerunner is sporadic at best. Reading glucose levels off your watch, were not nearly as good as performance on the Apple watches. Very bummed that I have to keep going back to Apple as a Type 1 athlete to get continuous reads with no issues.

Agreed. I ended up switching to Samsung and have really enjoyed cgm readings from my watch. Meanwhile, my $400 Fenix 3 sits in bedstand neglected.

Thank you for all your videos. In my case, it is impossible to get my Garmin to work with Dexcom, and Garmin never came back to me. I am considering leaving Garmin.

Hi Bruno. Sadly, I had to do the same. I have a perfectly good fenix3 sitting in a drawer going to waste. I switched to Galaxy Watch 4, and I haven't looked back.

Is the dexcom app/ data field for garmin compatible with dexcom one? or only dexcom g6/g7?

Sorry breodj, Dexcom One is not Dexcom Watch face compatible.

So my 11 year old daughter was just diagnosed as Type 1. She uses G7. Is there an affordable smartwatch that will connect to G7? Does she need an active phone as well or will a watch connect to G7 by itself? Thanks

Hi Craig. I am sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis. Just know that with the proper support and resources, she is going to be just fine. Firstly, I want to suggest a podcast for you that is a wealth of information. It is called the Juicebox Podcast. Secondly, yes, there are several watch options for the g7. If you use Android, I suggest the Galaxy watch 4. I have a video on an app called Blose that works perfectly with g7. Good luck, buddy.

@@typ3me I fell for the hype and wasted a lot of money on a higher end Garmin watch that was supposedly Dexcom compatible. What is so special about the Garmin/Dexcom partnership if the Garmin still needs a compatible phone to get Dexcom readings? I can do that with almost any smart watch! What I want and need is a watch that connects directly to my G6, like this partnership was suppose to provide. My phone (a common model) still isn't Dexcom app compatible so I'm SOL.
