I believe that Adam taught his son, Seth, when the sabbath was, and Seth taught his children and so on. There were only eight people “between” Adam and Noah, and the correct Sabbath could have been easily handed down from father to son. Lamech is the eighth-generation descendant of Adam (Genesis 5:25), the son of Methuselah, and the father of Noah (Genesis 5:29), in the genealogy of Seth in Genesis 5. In Genesis 5:12-25, Lamech was a son of Methuselah, who was a grandson of Jared, etc. My point is that all these people knew when Sabbath was, and if not, Methuselah, who lives 969 years certainly knew, because he was alive when Adam was, surely they talked with each other, Adam, being the first man and Methuselah, being the oldest man. Methuselah Was alive while Noah was preparing the Ark, and died the year of the flood, and surely, he knew Noah and Adam, which means in my mind that Noah knew when the Sabbath was, and also the scripture says that Noah was perfect in his generation/pedigree, but assuming that none of them knew when the Sabbath was, which I believe is preposterous, the scripture teachers that Abraham knew, because Genesis 26:5 KJV says, [5] “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandment, my statutes, and my laws.” Therefore, Abraham would have taught them to his children, Isaac and Jacob. There were only about eight or nine people between Noah and Abraham. You could take about 20 people that live to be 100 years old and that would be how many people between you and when the Messiah walk this earth, and tracing back to the 20th person could’ve talked with him. None of what I just said is what I want to talk to you about. What I want to talk to you about is how to prove all things and hold fast, that which is good. And that’s not really what I want to talk about, but will have to do it in another video unless I forget, and I don’t want to forget it because it is really an eye-opener, I will give you a brief preview in a minute, but first I want to admonish everyone not to do what many people do to try to prove their doctrine or their theology, or their belief, etc., and that is to say things like, that come out of Egypt, Babylon, or from the Canaanites, who worship many gods, and, YW, was found among them, which many scholars say, it must be a contraction from Yahweh, but I believe that is his name, pronounced Yuh Wuh. Back to my subject, you cannot say well, He done this, or He done that which does not prove anything either because none of that proves anything if you think about it, the apostle Paul said that he was a blasphemer, and that he held the coats of them that stoned Steven, but he wrote 2/3 of the New Testament, yes, a man that stood by and watched a man be beat to death with stones, God used in a mighty way. I believe truth, no matter where it comes from even the devil himself quotes scripture, and I agree with him when He told the Messiah that he gives his angels charge over him, and that they would deliver them unless he dashes his foot against a stone, it doesn’t matter to me Who quotes the truth as long as I can prove it from scripture, but if I can’t prove it from scripture, it might not be right! And Abraham was given all of Canaan land, and should we think it’s strange that God‘s name be found among the Canaanites gods? I would think it’s strange if it wasn’t found, because Abraham owned all of that land, and was a rich and well-known man in the land of Canaan, yet in a debate that brought the jury, and I had with a man named Rechart, (dead now) he brought up that YHWH cannot be God‘s name because it was found listed among the Canaanite gods! At any rate, Noah and his descendants field, Babylon, Egypt, and all the surrounding areas, and to say this, or that is from Egypt. It’s not proof of anything, as a matter of fact who did Babylon get the concept of a Lunar Sabbath to start with? Enough of this it is just wasting yours and my time. I wanted to talk to you about Galatians 3:16 KJVS [16] Now to Abraham and “his seed” (God himself in Flesh) were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ (Messiah).” you can think on it until next time, it is an eye opener when you hear the rest of it.
