Hey Sara, this is your Trusty fellow Retired USAF veteran who worked in Corrosion Control as part of my duties. Looking at the top of that trailer with those rusted steel screws and corroding bare aluminum means that it won't be too much longer before you start getting leaks and seeing holes. That corrosion on the steel screws (or bolts) needs to be addressed as does the corrosion (gray and black) on the aluminum. Aluminum being the weaker metal is of course going to corrode quicker. You'll need to treat it to stop the corrosion and then coat it to protect it. Also two dissimilar metals coming in contact with each other will cause the weaker metal to corrode if there is available oxygen. So some nonmetalic washers between the screws and aluminum top would be awesome (along with new screws).

Helpful hint use stainless screws to install new lights makes it easier to change out if needed. The reason you use stainless is that it doesn’t react with other metals which be a form of electrolysis

Hi Sarah, regarding your trailers roof, I lived in Arizona for many years and on my enclosed trailer I rolled on extreme enviro white elastomeric roof covering by Henry...it not only protected the roof but reduced the heat inside tremendously. If you touch the bottom side of the roof before and after installation, you will be amazed how much cooler it is. Hope this helps I enjoy your channel. Mike

The front ramps are used to unload snowmobiles. That’s also reason it’s wide. Something you probably don’t see much in southern Arizona.

On trailers, always check torque on lug nuts. They will loosen because of turning. Also, pump up tires to maximum cold pressure. That way they don't heat up and have blow outs. Tire covers a must to keep UV off the rubber.

When you reinstall grease caps over a wheel bearing, use a drift or an old screwdriver on the lip to bang them in place. That way you don’t dent them by banging on the center of the cap. Looks much nicer :)

For the roof you can use a scotch bright pad on the aluminum. Rub only in one direction. Use water and soap. It will give it the appearance of brushed stainless.

Damn, every time I see the amount of effort you put into detailing vehicles I get the urge to put the same effort into my vehicles, but then I forget... until your next video.

Hey Sarah, For the roof and other aluminum surfaces, use BOSH CHEMICAL "Aluma Bright", Aluminum Cleaner and Brightener. I use it on horse trailers with a lot of aluminum. Works Great. Please follow the instructions! Cheers.

Very nice trailer. Up north here, those types are used for snowmobiles and 4 wheelers. That way, you drive in the back and drive out the front.
