It made me so happy cuz the price of older Pokemon games is crazy I don’t even know why gamefreaks mad they don’t make there own emulator on the switch for Pokemon just other random games and they don’t even get any of the revenue for the random sells on eBay
It’s going to all be gone once Nintendo shut down all Nintendo emulation then other companies will follow suit if they shut down delta then they could go for all emulators
@Nihilisterplayz Looks like we're going to stop buying remakes/remasters of retro triple AAA games (including the Nintendo ones) and instead, start buying indie games and AA games.
They wouldn't have such a big privacy problem if they were price drop their fucking games I paid 50 bucks for Skyward Sword in 2016 that game was 5 years old
If Nintendo would sell their old games on the app store, I would paid a few bucks for old games but no you have to rebuy the same game on their new device each time.
The only games Nintendo will be able to sell other own everything else will be tied into licensing and a lot of those companies are dissolved . So think this through why would Nintendo sell their games and someone else’s emulator when they can produce their own? At the end of the day, games are properties of the companies and it’s a grey area that we are allowed to use roms .
Here’s an idea Nintendo. Create an emulator for phones that people can buy your games from 🤯 why would you not take advantage of more sales on phones? Insane what these gaming companies do and completely miss the fact that people want this stuff and fighting against it is only losing you business.
Exactly my thoughts. No evidence of their 'official' response to this at all. Just more clickbait titles to justify a ranted opinion. All it makes me do is block this account from my suggestions
exactly. he's just feeding the narrative that we should all pirate games & that Nintendo is trying to kill all emulation. It gets clicks, yet is completely fabricated.
Ngl clickbait gets views so they do this instead of just calling Delta a great and legal way to play Nintendo retro games. And I've also been searching for instances in which Big N went after Project64, Mupen, Desmume, Drastic, Visual Boy Advance and found no such thing. Even the Android retromulators have been untouched by those ninjas. Idk what this guy and Mutahar has been waffling about.
@@clint5406 yeah you’re right, I get the clickbait thing. It just winds me up. And you’re right. In fact Nintendo themselves have been aware of Delta for over a decade. They made changes years ago after threat from Nintendo (which was about linking directly to Rom sites in the app by default instead of just google or whatever). So if they wanted to take action, they’d have done so long long ago
I'm actually excited to see where this goes, because Apple is probably the only company more sue happy than Nintendo is, and they're way bigger than Nintendo, so I want to see if Nintendo has the balls to pull their usual bullshit against an entity they can't just bully.
It’s such a Nintendo move to have this absolutely massive library of titles that people want to buy, but yet not sell them. And then spend millions chasing and stopping piracy that WOULDN’T be an issue if they just let us buy them.
If Nintendo would just sell its old games on NSO that people actually WANT… Old Pokemon titles for example!! Um hello they’d make so much $$$ but no we get mostly garbage on NSO.
Nintendo is Streisand effecting themselves by bringing more attention to emulation by shutting down things like Yuzu. Now more and more people are getting interested in emulation.
@@matthewwilliams8244it is simple thoe they gotta put all there games , it’s trash rn cuz of drip feed like not 1 Pokémon game is on there that’s why people go to emulation since it’s all there lol .
RGT and MVG are the reason I’ve gotten into emulation. I’ve dabbled in emulation over the years (especially when Zelda Randomizers became popular) but never got serious about it.. Recently, i modded my Series S and started digging deep into Retroarch. I am thoroughly blown away by all the options to improve the look of these old games. It’s like putting a new coat of paint on your old car. Sure, it’s the same car… But it feels so much better with that fresh paint.
How does he make a claim that Nintendo is pissed but provide nothing objective? Like a former letter/document or a PR announcement? There are a ton of emulators Nintendo has left alone because they don’t generate a profit off the users. The moment someone starts collecting money on the software is where Nintendo steps in.
@@HeroTheHedgehog999Yuzu was making money through a patreon, though. Whether that’s enough to consider it “making money off the emulator” is a bit unclear, but apparently Nintendo’s lawyers didn’t think so.
Not even close. Nintendo plays the waiting game. They don't need to rush to do anything. They're the turtle in the race of games and game development. Nintendo still doesn't have any vr related hardware publicly announced. Theyre going in their bag these next 5 years. Guaranteed
Delta's been around for years thanks to sideloading, so I don't know what Nintendo can do to it because the only change is that it's now on the app store.
I think its mostly the fact that it’s actually more accessible to many users in a touch of a button and how quick and easy to access it within the palm of your hand.
Let's be honest, I think Nintendo (and Sony and Microsoft) missed the bus on this one. When emulation first started, it was more of a "let's see if we can do this" type of experiment. Well what do you know, it worked! Emulation has been growing ever since, and that growth is a clear indicator that regardless of the shiny new games that are continuing to come onto the market, people still want to play old games. Then it seems as though Nintendo experimented and released NES and SNES Classic, and what do you know, they were extremely popular. As Nintendo usually does, they screwed that one up by not having enough inventory and the scalpers ruined it for many, but there was definite legit demand. The problem is that these companies are sitting on a cash cow that they refuse to acknowledge, and now they've missed the bus by staring out the window at it and not getting on board, and all they can do is cry about it. If Nintendo had provided a legal and legit way to obtain and play these older games when the demand first became evident, AND did it correctly (reasonable prices, large inventory of games) they would have had a continual revenue stream. Instead, we got a drip feed, with no choice in the matter and frankly complete disregard for the games fans actually want. The online versions through Nintendo's service could be absolutely great, and completely in Nintendo's power (excuse the pun) to make the platform better and better, and the price is actually reasonable, but the game collection is lacking. Fans are going to find a way to get what they want.
I wanna see Apple make a counter offer of; Sure we’ll take down Delta but we’re taking down your Games and won’t let you ever publish one on our store again.
Nintendo would have to be stupid to sue Apple. Apple can hire more lawyers than Nintendo can and possibly put them out of business. Apple is worth 3 trillion dollars Nintendo is worth 71 billion dollars.
Man, this is so respectful to say that I've been doing videos over the years and I've talked to every now an then about emulation.Emulation is very important as it relates to bringing more fans to retro or just gaming. In general I respect your content ❤❤❤
This made NSO obslite to me. Why wait every 3-6 months to be spoonfed a handful of games, when I can have my entire library plus more whenever I please. If Nintnedo learns anything from this, I hope its to provide a better service. Who am I kidding its Nintendo, they'll just drag this out in court.
Ho yes, please do emulation tutorials. I've messed with emulator before and still do, but sometimes there's some setting that I changed and don't remember how I did it when I have to reartange something that mesed up
Emulation does improve games. Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D from their native 240p to 1080p is a night and day difference. The Temple of Time in Ocarina of Time 3D looks immaculate and Ganon's Tower looks so much more ominous

I feel like it’s only a matter of time before they remove the app… does anyone know how I can save the app or do somthing where I can upload the app files so I don’t loose it whenever it gets taken down??

Anybody figure out how to get to post game in heartgold soulsilver after elite 4? Remember the og games would “auto save” in game (NOT save states) , so I’m unable to get to Kanto region 😞
Would love a ps2 emulator, trying to fine tune one on my steam deck. De-interlacing on some games seems to break them. Would love some expert guidance.
Would love some tutorials on how to make my games look good. I love to play my games on emulation, but there's just some games it's really hard on the eyes to play.
"It's Official: Nintendo IS..." ... Is it though? I dunno. It's a safe ASSUMPTION that they're pissed, based on their track record, but I don't know if I'd say "It's Official", considering there's been no word from Nintendo or leaks to show they're taking action. Kinda just comes across as clickbait.
It's so funny seeing these people discover emulators for the first time. My first emulator was also Nesticle 0.42 in 97/98 and SNEmul on my first PC from 96 a pentium 166mhz with 16mb of RAM lol
I’ve been using Delta for years at this point. I’m just glad I don’t have to go through the convoluted side-loading method that requires you to resign the apps using a computer every 7 days anymore in order to use it
