Swerve is one of the best things aew has done. Him and Nana have always been a highlight.

Swerve is a star but his booking has been confusing. I tuned in to see him as the new champ and his first night he didnt get the mic and he struggled to beat some roh guy...in the opener that took 2 commercial breaks before swerve , the new champ, narrowly got the win. He just didnt feel like a big deal, and i wanted him to. Bell to bell hes amazing. On the stick hes amazing . But hes gotta be allowed to put it together AND have it make sense.

I dare anyone to tell me with a straight face that Undisputed Era are better off now in AEW compared to when they were in NXT under Triple H.

Vince dropped the ball,he called him up only to fire him what 3 weeks later,Triple H made him Nxt north american champion and gave him his own group

Keith Lee has been out because he had double surgery for unknown injuries that he hasn't discussed publicly. But did put out that he had two surgeries.

They didn't really "drop the ball" with Serve, they were building him in NXT, then he was released suddenly when NXT was completely revamped. He was a victim of circumstance more than anything.

WWE always drops the ball with talent. Toni Storm and Swerve are the biggest in the last 3 years. Look at what HHH build with black and gold. 70% of that core is now in AEW

I've been a fan of Swerve since Lucha Underground and he was Killshot. WWE definitely dropped the ball. His stable in WWE did nothing for me though.

People need to realize a star to you individually does not make someone an actual star no matter how much you wish cast it. Fact: Swerve is a talented dude but his AEW title reign tanked the numbers. That doesn’t happen to an actual star. You can like the guy but don’t set him up for failure by making it seem like he’s some megastar when he’s no different than the literal hundreds of people that WWE supposedly “fumbled.”

Swerves great and he’s a star but even if they kept him, I don’t think he’d have became as big in WWE with the star power they have on the roster. Hes the guy for AEW. In WWE he’d be one bigger name among many others and we wouldn’t be talking about him in the same way. That’s just my opinion though. For a guy like him, going to AEW is what got him to stick out

How did WWE drop the ball with Swerve? They let Swerve go for the same reason they let Moxley, the Bucks, Omega, and many others go. He is an indie goof that acts more like a mark than a professional wrestler. He would have never made it this far in WWE. He only made it this far in AEW because he has the right friends and fits in with all the other indie goofs that would rather do dumb shit in an empty building than act like a professional and draw money. WWE has proven more than once that they have no problem cutting the indie goofs loose, regardless of how much potential they have. WWE wants people that have common sense and that are willing to listen. The recent match with Hangnail proves my point. Swerve spent years in the WWE system. He should know better than to do stupid phony shit like that by now.

Vince. Not wwe. Swerve went to aew in March or April of 2022. Triple H took over wwe 2 or 3 months later. I guarantee you Swerve would have come back had he held off on going to aew just a few more months

I was so excited for him when he won the belt and then what they did after was the undermine them cut his legs out did the stupid thing with the young box never gave him any true challenges had him flounder as they change the look of the shows to look cheap and the attendance was down and it was all during the time that they were like oh just wait just wait we're going to have a TV deal they really undermine this guy

not trying to be the black guy saying this but i will be, black wrestlers have rarely been faces of wrestling organizations. WCW is an example of having one of their faces being Booker T and WWE could never capitalize on what made him booker t in WCW. he still had way more eyes on him and success in WWE but because of his own talents. Swerve exudes charisma and confidence and i’m so glad he’s getting the opportunity he deserves and selfishly as a black man i’m hoping to see more top stars with different representations in the spotlight.
