Edmonton just finished a 15 game win streak. Evan shut up you know nothing about hockey. It isnt like other sports where you have a complete linear progression every year. Rangers fans know damn well that EVERY year is Cup or Bust! We have been burned by this team MANY times in the last 3 decades. We are numb to more pain. I am a Jets fan as well so I can compare. Its worse as a NYR fan when you HAVE the team almost every year, but disappoint in the playoffs. WE KNOW! So worry about your little team from LI, who is stuck with Lou "Lullabye" Lamorillo who has been asleep in the office since the Horvat trade, and do not speak of the NYR's Musts and Must Nots!

They're certainly capable of winning the cup, the only question is how badly do they want it? Do they have the heart? Or will the usual suspects disappear come playoff time?

Goes to show Even does not understand the game of Hockey that well. Hockey is a very different game than say basketball you have basically the same 5 guys playing every game. Makes it so predictable who is going to win the championship. Boring. Hockey has 20 players rotating in and out of the game every game. Then a goalie. So there are many combinations of players you can go with and change. And lets face it Hockey makes Basketball look like High School intramurals .Even should stick to basketball, golf, tennis and ping pong. Not contact sports.

I'm just glad they're talking hockey. I'm an Islanders fan but I think Evan needs to pump the breaks at least a little - yes the Rangers absolutely look like they can win it all, and good on em, but any team can build off of a lot of winning going forward even without winning the ultimate prize. They've got good contracts and a good farm system. They should be good for the next few years. Can't say the same about my Islanders.

First of all the Rempe hit was a shoulder, not an elbow, and the height thing definitely does factor into that. I’m just not seeing how there’s intent to connect with his head there. Second i just had to laugh when Bastian also got Trouba’d in the same game. Like I don’t want to see anybody get hurt in a life or career altering way, but if you scripted “guy demonstrates he leaves himself open to getting trucked by big opponents” it would have been the collision with Trouba.

As a lifelong Rangers fan, i'm going to enjoy, immerse myself, and revel in our success this year. I've got my stadium series jersey, and, my new 3rd jersey. We'll make the playoffs and I believe they have as good a shot as anyone else. As far as Rempe is concerned, better us than them.
