It took FOREVER to fix my 2022 RAM 2500. Was it worth the wait? 

@NoService I would have been fine with a ‘21 Tundra too. I don’t tow a whole lot, although I’ve found reasons since I have this. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay 8-9k more for a used one than a new one during that Covid shortage. If you follow the channel though, it was not issue free 😂

@Landshark559 G lol no one said a tundra can tow as much as a 2500, just that we don’t need to tow as much as a 2500 is able to. I’ve probably towed 10k a couple of times in this and I didn’t even feel like anything was behind the truck. I’ve towed 8k in a tundra before and I knew it was there for sure although it handled it fine. I still don’t really “need” a diesel but after owning this for a year, it would be hard to ever go back to a half ton.

@Freedom fighter hopefully it’s nothing 😬 I’m rooting for you 😂 luckily though, at least now they know of the pcm issue and there’s a recall, so hopefully if it was that it would be a quick fix for you.

They think it’s the intercooler now. It’s seems like they are throwing parts at it now. The good news it’s all warranty bad news it’s a commercial truck we use to make money.

Hard to say. I’ve heard mixed things about the Hemi just like I’ve heard mixed things about the Cummins (or rather the def, pcm, and tranny). So it may be equal. 🤷‍♂️ personally, I think there’s something cool about the diesel, but, it’s also the first one I’ve owned. The pcm issues happened at 12k miles, down for two months, and then I’ve driven 10k more miles. I think time will tell what I’d choose next time depending on how these next 80k miles go until my warranty is up.

@Nate Russell yeah it could have been super fast for the switch out had they simply popped a new one in. Lots of back and forth, truck sitting, and finding out exactly how it was bad, not just that it was bad. I hope your truck is solid and you bypass the shop time. 👊

J Matthews my daughter is 10, so I think she’s old enough? And the middle seat has no airbag, and the screen is far enough away my won’t hit it even he really folded forwards, so I assumed that’s ok 😬

I actually just shot an mpg update video, but I recently got 18.2 on a road trip which was up from 17.2 mpg before my new pcm. I’m going to now track my around town mileage.

What do you get mpg when you pull your camper and what do you get city mpg I saw the video 18.2 on the highway that's awesome like your videos

I don’t have a camper yet, truck had to come first. I did a big town in my father in laws gen4 Cummins, that Canada trip we did. I can’t recall the mpg but it was better than I expected. In mine, city is 14-15 if it’s a lot of stop and go and if I have a heavier foot.

@Kevin Van Lohuizen, I actually liked it. It has surprising nice leather quality and a comfortable cabin. It was a 4 cyl that was a little gutless at times so if I were to ever buy one for the family, I would go for the 6 cyl

@Buffalo Diesel they replaced the pcm, and I’m not totally sure what was broken, I dodgy have the patience to read that report word for word to see which of the tests indicated failure, but one of those pin or relays or whatever makes a pcm must have had a bad part or connection.
