Surprised to see it took this long to get a real 1891 on the channel but just glad we eventually got a video , did you guys plan on doing videos for the lebel and 1907/15 berthier eventually ?
For having been made in 1896 and used in God knows how many wars, that rifle looks to be in really good shape. Totally agree about the brass clips; I have a couple that were very hard to find but work well in my Carcanos. The dark metal (steel?) repros are close to useless.
Had a few models of Carcanos over the years but once the old milsurp correct size ammo was gone I looked into getting correct projectiles but could never find them :-( I did however cast my own but that got old after a while thus didn't jump on any Carcanos .... If I can't shoot them I don't want them.... be well.
