*Side notes:* For purposes of comparison, the translations are quite literal (not necessarily the most natural-sounding). Below are some alternatives (feel free to contribute to this list!): SPANISH - "se debe a" instead of "es debido a"; "formar/ser parte" instead of "hacer parte", which is only used in some parts of the Spanish-speaking world like Colombia (www.fundeu.es/consulta/formar-parte-o-hacer-parte-823/). PORTUGUESE - "fazer sucesso" instead of "ter sucesso" "Voi" in Italian and "vocês" in Portuguese are used for both informal and formal address. In European Spanish, "vosotros" is used for informal address, while "ustedes" is more formal. In Latin American Spanish, "ustedes" is used for both informal and formal address. Also, there is a second-person plural form in Portuguese, "vós", which is now considered archaic in most of the Portuguese-speaking world. It is now usually only used in religious contexts and in a few parts of Portugal.

I love your work and passion for Br-Pt, and I am supporting you through and through. I am now starting to learn the language and I know it's going to be hard, but thanks to your videos I can try and gain some proper knowledge on informal speaking. I think you're in a very unique position in that you've spent countless hours and a lot of money towards this language and culture, that you could be doing more with this and getting back what you deserve as well. Have you considered developing a program for Br-Pt, or do you have a plan to upload videos and explaining in-depth the structure/pronunciation of the language? You're very informative and I believe that you have great potential to make your channel even better with some deeper or longer content. Since you aren't Brazilian you can see the perspective of somebody who's just learning this, and can perhaps guide them in the right direction and provide some more wisdom/tips to learn better. I really do think you have so much more to share and should be given back much more for it. You're a great teacher and again I love your work!

Thank you so much Tristin! Longer form content will definitely come in the future, but right now it's hard enough trying to put out a single 4-5 minute video every 2-3 weeks, Once I'm able to produce a short video once a week on a consistent basis, then I'll focus on developing longer, more in-depth content. As far as developing a course, if there is enough demand in the future I may consider it...but honestly right now I'm just trying to improve the quality of my videos and in the process grow this community...it's just hard because I have a really demanding job which leaves little time for content creation. Anyway, if you're down, I'd love to continue this conversation off RU-vid as it'll help inform the type of content that I produce. Please hit me up on Twitter or IG if interested! Thanks again for all your support, I appreciate you!

@@DecodingWordswithAndrew Thank you for your response! I totally understand the business and it makes much more sense now that you mention this. It must be tiring and frustrating knowing that you want to do more but can't! I would love to continue this conversation, and I'll message you on IG about this and try to gather some ideas for you. Cheers!🥂
