The story behind this video goes like this: i IU is in love with the guy who is older than her, and he will wake up when she comes on age to date. So she spends her time counting the days. The part when she’s on the train, she sees some visions of her future besides the guy and gets excited and anxious so she begins to work on a time machine to fast forward time. The thing is that by the time she finishes “creating” the time machine, and unbeknownst to her, she is already of age to date. The guy wakes up just at the same time she steps in the time machine only to catch a small glimpse of IU before she disappears to the future. At the end they meet again at the store and he remembers her. There is a part two to this story with the song and MV “above the time”

This song is actually connected to "Above the time", as you can see the time machine at the end stop at 191231, she's release "Above the time" in November 2019, both MV and lyrics is connected. Yes, NAKKA is out on 26/07/2021 (AKMU with IU)

One of my favourite songs from iu😍

Probably my favorite IU video. It has great story, great music score and great setting. Another cool thing is that during the chorus, you can feel and see what IU is trying to portray in this song through her facial expressions and body language. These are small but very meaningful details you can appreciate even if you don’t understand the song. That’s the reason why IU stands out from others. That’s why I respect her so much, her work is just outstanding.

I watched for the first time the entire MV because they kept watching even after the song is over. I never thought of the latter part even existing.

아이유가 유명해진 곡이죠. 굉장히 옛날 곡인데.

Nice Red Velvet T-shirt By The way !! You And I is a classic, and I always loved that "IU" sang a song called "You And I", very clever. IU has a nice company to which they invested a good amount into her MVs so she could have nice "story MVs". Also I really love her vocals on this track in particular, because she hits those soft notes very well plus every note sounds perfect like always. Technically next for her singles is Every End Of The Day + Peach, these 2 songs were both included on the same album, Every End Of The Day is like a mini documentary MV style which is very nice however it is quite long and it does include her singing Peach live at the end of it.

When IU was young, she is the most loved female singer in Korea. She is famous for donating a lot and caring for her fans.
