I think denial that i have CF always plays a pretty big role in my life.. im fortunate enough to be 17 and have only been in hosp and on IVs twice (the second ivs werent even needed as it ended up being Aspergillus). Since i am basically like a ‘normal’ person rn i used to be very complacent with my exercise and physio but im beginning to finally realise that in order to maintain my good health i actually need to work. Ive started going to the gym 5 times a week and i do my physio as much as i can (sometimes i give myself breaks because this is a big turn around from being non-compliant to me). Thank you for motivating me with not only your CF story but also the exercise and general moral side of your instagram!
The tedious IV regimen combined with medication side effects are exceptionally difficult to contend with. I find that IV antibiotics wreaks havoc on me physically and mentally. There is always a recovery after the recovery.
SOPIE, Thank you for letting everyone know that you are out there. There is an army of support online for you, you will find them and they will find you. Hoping the best for you and just want to encourage you to fight CF like the Bitch that it is ! Rascal James and I are in your corner.
