People might not know this but this is the moment Cole changes forever. When he saw somebody on the red carpet with the same Versace shirt is when everything bout being celebrity woke him up.
oh yeah, there were 2 other artists with the same fit as him cause they all had the same stylist and couldn’t care enough to switch each of their fits up. they’re all just a cog in a machine and cole realised that.
As a person he hasnt changed that much, back then he just hadnt accomplished as much and felt the pressure to live up to the lifestyle. But his music always had the same message
All the old fans know Coles always had the same mindset and back then his music was incredible, just as good as now or even better but he did have a dilemma with the rap game he was apart of, and he had to navigate his way through all the noise...probably felt the pressure to look the part, once he got over that he truly took over
I like it when interviewers know what they’re talking about instead of just wanting a celebrity in the video and talk about what they’re wearing, respect!
Look at the evolution of Cole... and when I say say evolution what I really mean is how he's comfortable being himself now... J Cole ain't that flashy materialistic type of person, you can feel that in your soul, cause looking at this now feels so unnatural. Now he rocking dreads, plain tees, baggy pants, no chain... always vents from the heart, everything is authentic and you can feel that.
Story telling has been gone for some time, we need that in Rap. Nas was probably the greatest story teller of all time. Cole is one of few rappers who incorporates it in his music.
Rap was about love and competition until these industry fools came and corrupted the game, now they viewing these rappers like they all insane, head so big blow up with fame, it's sad to see
J.Cole ur the man!! please make videos of born sinner, she knows, new york times, niggas know, rich niggas, Villuminati, miss america and hopefully Made Nade Proud ;)) i know its a list but i think this nigga can do it. Big UP Cole World
He is honestly better than Kendrick.. but if you are going to listen to him.. you better know what he is talking about because he talk about things that the world doesnt want you to know.. if you listen to him he will have you watching alot of documentaries.. Thats why Ab soul is better than Kendrick to me but opinions are opinions
disappointed?? i cant see why.. it was JCOLE's album, and he had already said that.. plus there putting out an album together.. so sit back, be patient and wait for a masterpeice..
I know that's what he said, but the fact still remains kendrick could have done a verse Then he wouldn't have been able to say that I wasn't surprised, just disappointed
Lil kids called cole boring because they weren’t there when he was easily fucking the game up. He decided to mature 2014 forest hills. Around the time trap trash rap came around . Cole a goat
He was making some.incresible.music then but it's so strange seeing him blinged up with the shades...he didnt even really do that much back then but he must have been hangin out with Drake a lot at that time lol now he doesnt even take showers 🤣🤣🤣
the absolutely dopest dude in hiphop is ceej. type in"""( CEEJ COME ALIVE)""""to see the next mega superstar artist and remember i told you soooo !!!!!!
Yeah, ghostwriting for each other prolly. I know they're doing an album together, but when are we gonna hear a real Cole & Kendrick collab? That low quality "Temptations" ain't doing it for me! I was expecting Forbidden Fruit to be a preview of what we're going to hear on the Collabo Good song regardless
If I Was JCole... I Would Organize A Meeting Between Nicki Minaj And Lil Kim.. To Squash The Beef And Have Them Get This Money Toegther As Mentor And Apprentice
That song was trash and that J Cole album was trash too. When he started growing his hair out and growing his dreads and started dressing bummy is when his music started being good again
