#AbandonedMissouri #Train #Railroad
Nestled beside the tracks in the small country town of Irondale, Missouri, lies a mysterious building that has been slowly swallowed up by nature. After looking for clues within the decaying interior, it appears that this large, unassuming structure was last used as a home. With newspaper clippings found from back in the 1950’s, it appears to have been empty for many years. After extensive research, we found that it may have been used as a hotel, train depot, or possibly a manufacturing company. Without finding concrete evidence of its past, we could allow ourselves to use our imaginations….perhaps it was a bordello placed seductively next to the train tracks, or a stop on the way to Jesse James hideout….mysterious in its enchanting state and ever crumbling to the ground, it was a truly amazing place and we are happy to share it with you.

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may seem an eyesore to one person, just might be a beautiful masterpiece to another. There are places beloved by communities and protected in the hearts of those that hold their memories of its tattered hallways and decayed rooms dear. This is the way that we feel when we explore places that have been forgotten by time. Left to rot and decay and only holding the silent whispers of what once was. We know that there are people out there with malicious intent toward these places that we venture into. It saddens us when we see the filth and destruction they leave behind, but we want to make something very clear… We are explorers and lovers of history. We in no way, shape or form condone the criminal activities that take place in the historical decaying places that we document. Social media has brought many of these places to the limelight, but the intention is to show the beauty and mystery of abandonment. Not to invite trouble. Trouble will find its way on its own and to say that the peaceful documentation of these places leads to criminal activity, is mind blowing. We have met so many amazing fellow explorers in our travels and are so thankful and humbled by the positive responses we have received. We know that this type of exploration is not for everyone…many people don’t understand why we find such beauty in decay, we can only explain it as a beautiful journey into the past. We invite you to watch our explores and come along as we visit these amazing places. As for the criminal activity that occurs, those individuals are responsible for their own actions. It is a terrible part of our society, but reality, nonetheless. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for loving this location just as much as we do. We hope that through this video, the memories held within will remain.

It's 10:30 pm and I just checked my mail. OMG !!! Thank you so much for the 'goodies'!!! I luv Lighthouses and the card has a lighthouse on it 😁 and what a beauitful 2 sided pretty magnet ! It's on my fridge now. I'll wear the J & M Explorations very comfy mask to church Wed & Sunday. Thank you so much!! I'm not eatting the candy for awhile. The sugar mapple candys smell too good to eat.... Your 'goodies' are boxed up but I have to wait till the beginning of next month when I get paid to mail them. Marcel you're gonna get a squicky clean birthday present.😉 I have to get a box for Jennifer's, another 'ha, ha' hope to make you two smile with the little surprise. The picture in the frame is why I really have to wait cause it weighs some and I want that shipped right. IF you hold a flashlight to the train car ...the train car turns to a blueish colour. Wow! That was a great find! Very interesting little building... I'm guessing since it's so close to the tracks, it might've been a saloon, or a Bed n' Breakfast-type place for weary travelers to get a hot meal and some shut-eye before moving on to their destination. I read your description and I think you could be right -- it might have served as a bordello at one point in time. So.... a Bed 'n Breakfast/bordello/saloon... I can almost see the sign on the outside of the building now -- "Welcome to Irondale's Screw & Chew Whistle-Stop Cafe" LOL! You guys always manage to find the coolest places! Valerie.

At--5:07- that weird breathing souls or whatever it is starts. I wonder if it had been a train station at one time. Dig the prices in the papers. Seems there was a fatal train crash too listed in the paper. The low to the floor windows says that the building has been there from at least the 1800's. Look how old that shoe was! In one of the pictures in the end where the board is sticking up on the floor is an old fashion rail road lamp I could see with my coin mag.

@@JMExplorations Jennifer and Marcel I'm glad you didn't sneeze when you were in there....Sad to see it like it is. They knew how to build them back in the day but once the roof went then it doesn't take long to distory the building. Bring a plastic skelton and put it in with the rubble just for fun. The next poor explorer might get a jump scare. Hey? It's close to Halloween right.😂😁

What a cool find!! With an air of mystery as to what it really was? I heard that whisper or growl around 5:30... that was crazy. Loving all the old decay. Jenn found a porcelain doorknob, very nice to see this structure, thank you for showing it. Lots of neat things discovered. Great find 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Explore with me, Marlo C 🍃 thank you! We almost missed this when we were driving by. Had it not been for us eyeing the railroad tracks we never would have seen it!! We researched this place but it was hard to find any concrete information. It makes sense that it was a train depot but what was with all the mattresses? That's why we also think hotel. Well whatever it was it was cool to explore!! Stay safe out there!!! :)

Big yes like all our big buildings that we call Capitals of America(RED BRICKS, BIG DOORS, an beautiful construction in everything they created.Tartarian design is the structure you were exploring. All inherited buildings of the past that the controllers destroyed during their evil wars for the quest of control and free energy. They even inherited the train infrastructure from the past, thats why them same freaks were smashing up so many beautiful big trains in the early 1800's to hide the truth. Killing in the name makes more sense when you know the truth. Nice footage. Red Bricks to you ya good people.
