Delicious... These sounds alone inspire directly to make more music, and write songs! You really demonstrate what's in a P6 - from my view just the most versatile analog synth! The possibilities of this synth have been continually growing for me since I bought it: so much was hidden beneath the surface. And sound designers/musicians like you and a few others helped a lot to explore it and get a better clue! Thanks a lot!
Bought both P6 sound packs. They are incredible. This is an instrument that takes finesse to really shine. The factory presets do not demonstrate what this synth is actually capable of, which is astoundingly good basses, rich keys and pads, and more. Please continue to make prophet 6 packs they are the best out there.
wow. I’m sold. don’t even need to see or hear it yet. Loved! your Arturia OB-xa presets! if you read this, please do more of Arturia’s soft synths presets!
Owning: an OB-6, Prophet Rev2, PolyBrute, various digital/hybrid poly synths, U-he Repro-5 …. Thinking: “Nah! I really don‘t need another analog poly synth! No more GAS!“ Listening to your patches: “Oh damn it!“
On My Way Arp is fantastic! Really nice use of what the drive. When controlled with the two filters, the drive is really a special, unique trait of the P6.
I’ve been on the fence about more than a few p6 soundsets. Matt Johnson, Luke Neptune both have really good ones, this is the first one that seems to completely unlock the p6. Must buy!
If you're still exploring it, id love to see more Rev2 stuff soon. Your patches are always so inspiring and I feel like the Rev2 could shine more than it does ✨
Your sound design is so inspiring! I'm will pick up the Rev 2 pack for sure. Sidenote, how would you make the 277:Conspiracy on the Rev 2? It blew my mind. Can't really do it properly with the ring modulator set at 1 and a couple of LFOs modulating the osc 1 and 2 pitch using a square waveform.
Ok first of all I adore your playing , commitment and patches. In fact so much so I’m interested in seeing if we can schedule an hr together in 2022 to shoot the breeze and take some instruction regarding synthesis. That aside I am in love with a large number of these patches you have created in this second batch for p6. The challenge is I would rather own a p10. Why? Well for a number of reasons you outlined in the comparison video. Raw tone (although questionably minimal) and feel / look and history. With that said I too am a musician first and foremost and the inspiration I hear in some of these p6 patches is undeniable. So, effects aside - do you feel like this set of patches could be replicated in a p10? Are there any clear feature related constraints that would not allow for it? Appreciate your time in producing fabulous content, sharing knowledge and help to fellow synth lovers.
J3, another batch of amazing sounds. when we download these, are they automatically mapped to a certain range on our P6 if we use the standard SySex librarian? thanks for all your hard work on these :)
1. Listen to the greats, Bill Evans, Jarrett, Peterson. Jazz learning is something like 1st yiu copy, then you analyze, then yiu understand. 2. Experiment yourself as much as you can then your hearing will open wider and wider.
