I examine the rare few photo references there are to determine whether Disney or Hasbro did a better job in creating a Star Wars Vintage Collection scale droid for Jabba’s Sail Barge.
That’s what I thought, too! However, the droids have NO Hasbro markings on the figures or packaging- Hasbro is not one to leave their name off stuff that’s for sure. There are a lot of products (in addition to the 3.75” droids) in the Disney stores that have no company names on them except “Disney.” So I think that Disney must just have a toy production branch. Many other RU-vidrs (Bossk’s Bounty and OnlyOneKenobi for instance) when discussing the Disney 4-LOM figure.
It’s hard to spot. Sorry for the self-promotion, but it sounds like you might enjoy my video about everybody on the Sail Barge: Every Character (and Action Figure!) on Jabba’s Sail Barge PART 2: The Barge ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--Z98yUNxCn0.html OR my video about every droid in Return of the Jedi: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0hJYyqt5yrc.html
Great comparison! Thank you! Apart from the lack of ankle-wires, the Disney version does look better, but I've already got the Hasbro multi-pack version, and I can't be bothered with trying to hunt down Dinsey Park exclusives.
