You better pay for Krisp. It's a noise cancelling AI that cancels all the noise in the world, even voices unless they are ridiculously close the headsets. It only cost 9/month and have a free trial for 7 days!
Hey one thing I noticed while using this with the usb-c cable, it still remains paired to my other two devices, allowing me to get calls or listen to three different devices (one at a time of course), so long as you don’t mind it being wired to one of the devices!
Hi Adam! We are a team sitting very close together in a location, and we spend most of our time in online meetings with the other teams. So we have two issues: - we hear the people in the same location twice, once in real life and 0.2 seconds later on the call. That’s super annoying! - when we speak, our voice is picked up by the other mics close by as well. Could the evolve2 85 be good for our use case?
No I wouldn't consider this the best for that maybe because it's a bluetooth headset. That may interfere with the latency even more. But can you tell me which headsets or device your using now?
@@TechOutAdam we have been testing just an ordinary wireless Jabra with the mic on a boom and no ANC. And we have tested the Sony wh-1000xm2. Had it not been because the echo the person speaks hear from his own voice this would have been super!
@@kodkirurg the evo 85 has a better microphone , but i found a Boss headset that is better then the 85H , but still the lack of an extendable mic is not a + , so Evo 85 is better .
Honestly, spot on. I was researching a ton of headsets, but I just hated that they looked like headsets, if you know what i mean, I have a cheap pair of Huawei earpods, that do the trick amazingly for when I want to go on a run or be discreet, so I'm covered on that front. But i don't have a good pair of headphones to listen to music, travel with, or just have decent noise cancellation. I was about to pull the trigger on the Evolve2 65, but they just look like they are for the office, to me, sacrificing a little of the mic quality for the retractable boom mic, was worth it. Also, the mic quality is not bad by any means, is just not as good as the 65, but both are great. The headband it is too much though, my solution was to make them a statement piece (i got them in beige), so I'm being intentionally extra, and i think they look kinda cool. Price point. It's stupid, they are just too expensive, so i waited until a pair popped up second-hand and got a decent deal.
I honestly don't know what Jabra was doing with this headset. I wanted to love it but I got frustrated with it. It was close to being the best I've used but I think they were overthinking things and it clearly shows in it's function. Thanks for watching!
hey man, I have kind of a weird question but I stream on twitch, and I'm looking for a wireless headset that has a great sounding mic for the times I step away from my stand-alone mic (hyper x quadcast). I find gaming headsets don't have great sound microphones which really takes away from the overall presentation of the stream. Is there anything you would recommend that is wireless, over-ear, and has a great sounding mic? I legit have no preference on if it's classified as a gaming headset or no, in fact, I kind of like the idea of not using a typical gaming headset, but I just want to know what you think are the best options for me.
Great question, you can do that and I do it all the time. You are going to have to stop playing your media once a call comes in those so the headset knows what to take priority with.
No I haven't had major issues with discomfort but they do get a little warm after two or three hours because of how bulky they are and also the material with the earcups. Jabra needs to do a better job when it comes to comfortability next time but overall I haven't had a bad experience with discomfort with glasses until about 2-3 hours in than I notice it starts to get a little toasty.
@@TechOutAdam thanks. I got one today. After updating the firmware, sound+ is not detecting my headset pairing. So disappointed with their software developers
Nice vid thanks. Why is it important to be able to take calls using boom mic via the 3.5mm jack? I've had mine Evolve85 for a year and I always use it wireless unless I want to listen to lossless music then the wiring come in handy
Honestly I have the same question. Not sure why others get hung up on using it wired vs wireless especially with such a long battery life. If you work 8-10 hours and then charge over night, there's not way you're running out of battery.
@@navneetsingh3772 it was an eBay purchase, I was surprised to see someone selling it for that much!! I think it might have been missing the dongle, but I had a link 380 from my mono ear jabra
