@@clydiebarkerr2058 mostly interested in these scenes where Tony is not in charge and respects the authority of who is. Different dynamic. But I also just like Michael Rispoli
I like spotting all the little past details they included in the flashback scenes, like Tony having more hair and Paulie not having quite as much silver in his wings. Great compilation, ceerious!
Tony and Jackie Sr were best friends growing up and then robbed Feetch card game and became rising stars in that life. Artie was also their best friend but chose the civilian life by running his dad's restaurant
I would have loved to see more of Jackie Sr as the boss. Just so interesting to see Tony as a capo taking orders instead of being a boss like he is for the majority of The Sopranos.
Finally i was a kid kid watching this guy I looked up to him tremendously wat a guy to love n treat as a role model i iodized the guy Jackie was a father to me
they had to get rid of him cause he would of outshined everyone. it was also his idea to have Richie Aprile, who he said he'd be as a twin, except Chase took the idea and used David Proval instead.
@@ceerious you know it's kind of a neat idea to have twins as the dudes tony both loves more than anyone and hates more than anyone. That's some deep shit. Like imagine your beloved dead wifes IDENTICAL twin lied and said you raped her and got you put away while she took all your money and home and stuff. Like there's no way that you wouldn't let that color your thoughts of her
@@xelldincht4251 Smoking tobacco in general is very unpopular in America, especially with millennials and zoomers. Smoking rates fell from 70.1 percent in 1991 to 15.5 percent in 2022. It's seen as disgusting and low-class to the point that you're considered by many as undatable if you're a user. Nowadays smokers are mostly made up of older people and people on the lower end of the economic spectrum.
@@Totallyfizzlebingo - he is correct in case anyone was wondering Also: some immigrants, eg. first generation Middle Eastern/European/Asian-Americans
Funny how Silvio acts with Jackie Jr when his fwatha is alive. All facade not real concern. It is all about themselves. Ironic than without Jackie Sr , this pigmy thing in NJ begin to fall...
Jackie mentions he will not go away on vacation so that his son glcan get a tutor so he can study for exams It shows his specific effort to make sure his son stayed in school but when he died his son was left in the hands of Tony n Ralph and they had no idea what kind of help Jackie Jr needed It shows you the importance of a father
Tony getting all offended because He feels Jackie didn't care if he was there 😂😂😂 Besides the fact that Jackie was doped up on Morphine or whatever, I think Jackie knew his positon as "Boss" meant nothing at the end of the day.
Tony wasn't offended, the scene right after literally clears that up. How illiterate are you? What else do I expect from someone who willingly uses the laughing-crying emoji.
"Hey Jackie, tell em what you told me in the car on the way over here, cmon, the Jackie Gleason bit, the mumbo thing, do a little bit for Ton and the guys"
The contrasting shots of Jackie who looks near to death with Tony who looks so young and full of life are brilliant 9:38 Tony was just screaming at Melfi about Jackie’s “beautiful head of hair” and it's clearly coming undone as he nears oblivion. The look Tony tells them to call them is heartbreaking, the last moment between you and you're friend.
things are good i grant you that, but the comment section is so robust u get credit u got nothing to do with. the wire and boardwalk empire are liking and subscribin.
Michael Rispoli is such a great actor. Ever seen him in the series The Duece he was a mob capo and in the series Power he was a boss of a jersey crew as well. Godfather of Harlem with bumpy Johnson
Not to beat a dead horse Cee but thanks again for these long videos that you put together. It's almost like watching an episode. Very nice! As far as this video ... the Family was in WAY better hands with Jackie at the helm. He seemed to be the Boss that kept the most people content. He might have even been able to make his lunatic brother toe the line. _Maybe_ Now, gotta get back to the video... Dankeschön mein Freund!
What do you mean? Once Tony took over it all went down hill. He preached rules but never followed them. Not to mention the fact he let NY kill Bobby and put Silvio in a comma for not giving up that Animal blundetto " I can't even mention he's name" Yet again NJ was just a glorified crew
Melphi or however you spell her name really was a shit psychologist wasnt she? "Youre angry, with who?" 😐 im not a psychologist but i can 100% say for certain that was the wrong question to ask 😭😭
He was the most reasonable logically Boss! Treated everyone fairly, and knew exactly how to deescalated Conflicts with his charisma. Tony had no problem following Jackie Sr as the Boss. When tony says to the Therapist? “Jackie is so fucking mean! He’ll scare that Cancer away!” Shows how much Tony Loved/Respected/Followed Jackie! all the way from they’re beginning of Childhood friends, to the End? of him ending up being his Boss and dying on his deathbed? One of Tonys True Friendships, putting business aside.
