The thing about Jackie though is while most of us know what happens in the end…..it’s not like she intended on any of that happening. She couldn’t have predicted that she would love Alex and Cole, she didn’t even know that Katharine and George had that many kids let alone sons, especially two sons who have issues with each other.

Jackie stated pretty clearly she likes control & hated being distracted. That she’s not sure who she’s turning into bc of her more reckless choices like skipping school with Cole & drinking. I think she latched onto Alex bc he was the safer option.
This thanksgiving episode hit close to home for me….since 2018 I’ve lost 7 loved ones, and half of them passed from s*****e and while I’ve gotten through the crying stages, I’m still in mourning to.
Jackie's confidence in every conversation with Cole leaves Alex behind. Cole is Jackie's greatest confidant, the best conversations are with them, that's why he spoke to her from the fireplace, they did flirt. The intensity in looking at each word. Unfortunately, Jackie doesn't have that with Alex. It's clear that in episode 5 Cole has already changed, until he sees her kissing Alex. And in episode 6 Alex also threw his relationship with Jackie in Cole's face to provoke him also because of Paige. Alex knows that Cole also likes Jackie from the beginning. Keep watching hahaha.
I love how you can find the good in everything. You really delve deep into the storylines and I appreciate that. It really created a dialogue with/about the show, making watching the react kore interesting.
everything you said during the thanksgiving dinner was so beautiful and completely true! Cole and Jackie are so compatible, and Cole has such a soft spot for Jackie, I love it. Will also never tried to communicate that he wanted to stay open for Thanksgiving at all, I do feel for Haley. Will also does not listen to what Haley has to say at all. Anyway Team Cole 100% and I love watching your reactions!
FYI: Literally all of the cute scenes between Alex and Jackie are between her and Cole in the books 🤝☺️ that’s the way the scenes shall remain in my mind. Especially Manhattanhedge
The sunset scene with Jackie and alex is originally Cole’s scene in the book! The measuring Jackie’s height in the barn earlier in the season was also Cole’s scene in the book!

I love watching your videos. I feel like I am sitting with a friend and enjoying TV together. I agree with you that Cole is the better fit for Jackie. And I love how the show explores so many heartfelt topics and conversations. I agree that Alex overtly showing PDA with Jackie was to get back at Cole. I wish he would be more honest with Jackie about his insecurities. Cole has so much more depth and actually listens to Jackie. He sees how much the teapot means to her and fixes it. Him watching Alex and Jackie kiss you could tell it really breaks his heart.

Hold on so you have an issue with Olivia messing around with Cole while Erin was trying to be in a relationship with Cole but Cole clearly flirting with Jackie while being with Alex is ok?? Help me out. You don’t feel like Cole should just accept that Jackie has made her choice and he should move on?? That’s my only issue with this show is once she chose Alex it should’ve been over as for as competing for her. The entire time I was looking at Cole like bro chill, she chose your brother!
Okay, I can see the confusion right!! So with Olivia, she was blatantly having sex behind her best friends back and knowing the history and dynamic between the two characters. On top of that, JUST TO FEEL COOL. With Cole and Alex, in my opinion they both went after Jackie at the same time. Neither one let up! When Alex got her as his girlfriend, yes Cole should have stepped back. But, the way I look at it Cole and Jackie have better chemistry and I honestly don’t champion on Alex and Jackie as a couple. Their chemistry falls flat a lot of the time and feels so forced. And as I stated, I can get how you feel confused but I stand on not wanting Jackie and Alex together. And from what I’m hearing, the cute moments Jackie has with Alex were with COLE IN THE BOOKS 😭 so that just further confirms that Alex never stood a chance babes.
@@wwhn well that’s what I was questioning. The moral integrity of Cole. Not who has the most chemistry or connection. The writers of the show meant for Cole to have the better connection with Jackie. My question is where is the respect for your brother and honor ? Honestly I had no problem with Cole before Jackie made her choice. Once she chose Alex and kissed him I felt like out of respect for your brother, you should move on. And yes Olivia was dead wrong! But all this is happening because of Cole. This guy is trouble where ever he sticks his flag😂😂 he like a backstreet boy causing havoc with a bunch of priming teenagers 😂
alexs feelings are not at all comparable to conrad’s. as you said, conrad’s mother was literally dying and he was grieving. also if alex is like anyone in tsitp it’s jeremiah 😭. always jealous of his brother and bitter that the girl he likes likes his brother more. you’re so valid. team conradcole 🫶

@@liv9795 listen, Alex and Jeremiah fit THE SAME ROLE, but they are very different. Maybe im biased cuz I LOVE JEREMIAH, but one of the main things I can point out is that Jeremiah has empathy while Alex really doesn't. Alex clearly doesn't see the pain that Cole is going through at all, he just doesn't care because of his jealousy towards him. Not to just Cole, but to Kiley as well. He doesn't realize how some one is hurting unless they tell him straight to his face. Meanwhile, Jeremiah (especially in season 2), even when he's frustrated wit Conrad and/or Belly, he still pushed his feelings aside so that they would be happy. At the beginning of the season, even tho Jere was still pissed at Conrad, he still called EVERYONE who Conrad knew, drove ALL OVER THE STATES, and searched EVERYWHERE to find Conrad and made sure that he was okay. Even in the last episode, he clearly wanted to be wit belly, but he said to both Belly AND Conrad that they needed to have an open and honest conversation and if they choose each other, he would let it go because he wants them to be happy, even tho it would hurt him AGAIN. That's why I love Jere so much. So yes, Jere and Alex kind of have the same position as the younger brother who also wants to girl (and Cole and conrad are VERY similar), but Alex and Jere are not the same person. They are definitely more different than they are similar
