Without exception, everytime I saw jackson Browne in concert, his bandmates also compliment his music by being such a tight band full of support. Some of the best concerts I ever remember seeing! Thanks all for the good music, keep on keeping on! Xo
I just saw JB perform at the Beacon Theatre in NYC Monday night 6/24/19. Always a phenomenal performance. I have seen him many times over the years. I’m a fellow Southern Californian.
The Poet Laureate of California, One of the top 10 song writers of all time; The American perfectionist, who is an equal to the Canadian Poet Laureate, Leonard Cohen,(who I saw in1984& 2009), and the Southern Rhode Scholar Poet Laureate, Kris Kristofferson( seen2009, 2010, & 6/14/13). Jackson Browne is most definitely in the company of Giants, as a pure songwriter. My future wife & I saw him in1974, & I'm taking my 23 Yr. old Daughter to see him tomorrow 7/2/13 . We are both pumped.
I've seen JB live 6 times. The last time I saw him I was in the front row in a small venue only 1,800 people and it was hands down one of the best shows I have ever seen live, if not the best.. But this.. Every single song he played at this concert may be the greatest versions I have ever heard of each. I would do anything to have seen this show live.
We were there up front somewhere. I would not have missed this opportunity to see this performance live, on that day. It was just a beautiful, timeless moment. It will stay with my wife and I forever.
