Tell it l like it is Jackson.. you remain the original song traveler.. thats why I teach all of your songs to younger students of mine .. to keep your songs always alive..
Listening to you speak it's easy to see what an intelligent, kind, and nurturing soul you are, and It definitely shows in your music. My youngest daughter is a case manager for HIV patients I am going to send her the song human touch. She lost a patient and her world just crumbled, she was crushed. Thank you for being you and for writing the songs that you write.. you are a sweet man and the world is lucky to have you
How refreshing, a man whose fame and wealth has not been used to nourish his ego, but has remained humble and relatable. A man who has instead used his platform as a activist for awareness, for positive change, for conscious evolution. Hold onto those values, in the end it’s all we really have.

a species (humans) that has wiped out almost 80% of all wildlife, does not deserve to exist...mother earth will balance and heal herself by drastically thinning our numbers...it's a needed reminder how fragile we are and the immediacy and urgency of living each moment with awareness...bravo to jackson for being such a beautiful vessel of that conscious evolution...
You may be right about we shouldn't exist but we exist due to evolutionary pressures driving us to have a technology that can decimate us. Such is life here.
He'd just rather sing. Had me belly laughing at hot plate. That's ok, Jackson. You've put so much of your heart and searching into the lyrics we love to hear you sing, you can ramble on if you want to. I'm just happy to listen. Happy you're around. Stay safe while you search.
Mr. Brown is a voice crying out in the wilderness of a debased American culture what was the feature of many books in the 60 such as Irrational Man. I'm sure he realizes that as the Human Ape we have come into a very dangerous phase where our technology out paces our maturity .
Truth, as far as we have come, we have truly only taken baby steps, and we still manage to be on the brink of ending ourselves with a great reset. The earth will heal and survive in time, but we may not. And he's been saying that since No Nukes.
🥀Amazing interview with Jackson Browne he's creative and easy to relate to. He stands for many things that do take time and effort to accomplish in this world as we know it. Thanks for posting this video. 🥀✌🥀
We love 💗 you Jackson Browne! I want to thank you for all the joy you have given to humanity through your great talents with your voice, singing, music etc. etc. etc... No problem, we have a UFO spacecraft in the event of the fall down here! Thank you and good luck!
Thanks for this, Paul. I'm twelve days older than JB, and have revered his work since discovering the debut record. The artist's first job is to tell the truth, and when those you've cast as your artistic touchstones reveal themselves further in the courage of activism, the power of inspiration is fully unleashed. To muster the courage to embrace uncertainty -- to "leave what you know, and launch yourself into what you don't know," as he says -- may well turn out to be the essence of life's central task. Sure does seem that way from over here, anyway. Kindness and generosity -- astonishing generosity -- abound in his life's actions. And I remain deeply grateful for his presence in the culture -- the example he sets, as an artist, and as a human being. So thanks again, dude, for taking this time with him, and for sharing it.
Very few songwriters have a social conscious like Jackson and always love his concerts when he tours Australia and still remember his opening song The Fuse at the Horden Pavillion , tripping on some psychedelic stuff back in the seventies and loved it when he did Lawyers, Guns and Money by Warren Zevon who I was lucky to see in NYC in the eighties .
Wish you good health

So glad there's a song of the beginning of AIDS in the 80s. I was a volunteer w Shanti Project but ended up just trying to be a friend to people who had very little time suffering and many abandoned and alone. Horrific time

It would be interesting to hear you speak to this third year of WW III, The Davos crowd, and governments in light of climate change. We are speaking here of unrestricted industrial, corporate , government and institutional greed and resulting pollution. Love the music.

Thank you for the post Paul. I enjoyed the opportunity to "meet" you both in this interview. Jackson's music has been an enduring thread in the fabric of my life. I recently wrote a song called "Calm Before The Storm," and as I was writing it, Jackson's "Before the Deluge" came to me. As Jackson said in your interview, that song connects....
'i am a child in these hills .. and looking for water and looking for life'.. streams > creeks > rivers > oceans .. watersheds are the basis for the resources we use and the lives that we lead..

I've been a big, big fan of Jackson's for 50+ years, and I'm so glad he's still active with a vibrant career but I must say this album doesn't really resonate for me - with the exception of A Human Touch, obviously. The songwriting just isn't on a par with earlier work, by quite a bit. And while I've always respected his activist leanings because I know he has a good heart and mind, it's a bit disappointing that his viewpoints haven't matured enough to accommodate more complex aspects of various issues. Btw, I can say the exact same things about Bonnie Raitt, her latest album and her activism. But I'm still gonna listen to both of em til the day I die, you can believe that. Thanks for posting.
Hi Paul. Can you get a message to Jackson that I have two nice dual burner electric hotplates, and I'd be pleased to give hime one of them. They're both nearly brand new, and hardly used at all. I grew up (well, to the extent that I did grow up) in Fullerton, CA, and Jackson and I have a number ofr friends in common (Maresh, Liesz, others). I'll be in SoCA between July 11th and 19th, and could drop it off, meet somewhere etc. Thanks, Paul. I liked the interview. All is well, Mick

Don t all countrys have walls and borders?Even people in there homes have protections!I know from meeting Jackson once he has people around protecting him! His politics have been the same since the 60s! He should be more open minded! We all know how we would like the world to be,you can say that is a fantasy! Jackson with all his ideas should be more of a free thinker ! Jackson what do you think of free speech these days ,do you think it's ok to burn people's businesses down, what about abortion when you can prevent a pregnancy! I am a huge fan of Jacksons, never miss a concert ,used to write him letters when I was 15 yrs old! Right now there is no replacement for fossil fuel! As far as the oceans he is right, this plastic and garbage is insane! There should be a price to pay for every country to use them as landfills!
@@ttwillow9073 Exactly. I have seen memes online of him with a crosshair over his face calling him a socialist. For being a socialist, he is a pretty successful capitalist, with a conscious, it can be done. When I attended the last two concerts I went through metal detectors and could not carry in a bag. What is infuriating to me is no one questions Ted Nugent, Travis Tritt, or Kid Rock's right to espouse their "beliefs." He is told to shut up and sing, and they attempt to bully people who see the world in the same light as he does into silence. They are entitled to their opinions, so is he, so is everyone else.

loved his lyrics /music has had tremendous musicians around him throughout his career.Over 40 years listening and also been at 2 of his concerts however in his own words "still searching".JESUS is the ultimate answer to his search, let's pray that this lost soul might find the true way
