@@jessejames1956 he was a mega star in 4 decades, 60's, 70's, especially the decade of 80's, 90's. And if only 50 shows "THIS IS IT" was performed, then until 2020, he is no longer a mega star but bigger than that. Miss and love MJ❤
Never saw this before. Pretty ingenious to be able to sing three different songs as one song and make it come out right. The Jackson Five were seasoned professionals, not just kids.
Wow so different to see Michael singing sitting down and not moving/dancing around on stage...don't think I've ever seen him singing whilst sitting down before!!!
The Jackson 5 at the peak of their career. Terrific to see a truly live vocal performance rather than a lip synch and also a performance where every brother gets to be heard. this is fantastic.
@@J-Ren.Ninobla LOVE ALWAYS JUDGE! And RIGHTSEOULSY thereof. LOVE IS RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT. And BIBLE never banned it: John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Matthew 7:2 - For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. John 15:13 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. The whole BIBLE is loving, because it RIGHTEOUSLY judging us and calling us all to REPENTANCE.
@@fostermac7170 Michael was naturally talented, and definately a prodigy, he was born with "it". He had something special to begin with, otherwise, his father would have never placed him in the front position despite of his young age.
@@oliviernga6080 I'm sure you're right, but Jermaine was lead singer and HE lobbied Joe to let Mike lead (according to Jermaine and Michael's books). They were all naturally talented (some more, some less), they could all sing, they could all dance. If you feel that it was a magical "it", then I'm not gonna argue with you. I don't think anybody ever said that he wasn't talented.
After seeing MJ The Musical on Broadway, I have been going down a rabbit hole of MJ and Jackson 5 stuff on RU-vid. This right here is absolutely incredible!!! What talent these brothers had!!!! ❤️🎼❤️
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️. FYI Killing Me Softly (I grew up on the Roberta Flack version) is not a romantic love song so no need for MJ to change “boy” to “girl” as a couple of the comments suggest. The song is a poetic story about someone going to hear a popular musician, and that the song he sang seemed to tell that person’s life story with such a level of depth and intimacy that it affected him. It’s One of my favorite songs 💕💕
If anyone ever questions the talent of the Jackson family, show them this video. Also, although I Stan Michael, let's not sleep on Jackie! He hit them notes!
This may sound strange to some people but growing up in the era when they started their phenomenal career feels like they are truly part of my own family... the Jackson's, my brothers and sisters forever 🙏🏿💪🏿✌🏿🥰👑💯
Esta presentacion de Michael y sus hermanos, me encanta...me hubiese gustado k esta version la ubiesen grabado...como no es asi, cada vez k puedo, disfruto escuchando y viendo este video. Michael forever...
Gotdamn it, Jermaine! Id wished you followed the brothers to Epic/Sony. Him and Michael's voice were magical. Imangine jermaine on those great Epic Jacksons albums
This was around the time they were about to play VEGAS They had to learn and perform some muture classic songs for the older people that were gonna be sitting in that audiuance,,,Such pros.!!..They were the greatest ever ...There wont be another great group in my lifetime like the Jacoson5 .Michael and I are one year older apart ..
Incredibly moving performance..Mj still seems innocent, before the turning point that took him to such a dazzling solo career as well as on a tragic path. 🌟🙏😥
