i think it’s perfectly valid that he felt left out, i dont think he expects all the attention but some is required for a marriage to work. Leaving him on the roof was a keen example of the wife putting the cats before anything and everything. I get loving cats I do too but i dont think invalidating his experience and feelings is whats needed

@@strumminronin well, definitely play with him a lot. He has lots of toys, cat trees, and other stuff.

The teenage years are the most chaotic and most exhausting...but also the most fun! So, you gotta just roll with the punches and enjoy it while it lasts. They start to simmer down a bit more once they hit about 2-3 years old.

You could search his videos for help. Also, can you trim your cat's nails? Make sure not to cut too deep. Best time is when they're sleepy and napping...wishing you an your Mom the best.

If his wife/partner of 16 years gives all her attention to that one cat, and _ignores_ her husband, who seems like a kind, gentle man who is suffering and _feeling neglected_ within their relationship, there is a *problem* with _her,_ and they should seek couples counselling to explore their dynamic and how to improve communication and prioritize _each other_ before any pets. Individual counselling might be useful, too, to get to the root of the problem.
