I did not vote conservative for the first time in 60 years. The reasons; 1. You failed to deliver Conservative policies despite having an 80 seat majority, 2. Pathetic infighting within the party, 3. Non Conservative policies, 4. You failed to deliver Brexit and scrap EU control of our nation I will not vote Conservative again until you return to true Conservative values and policies. Regrettably I doubt that I will live long enough to see it.

It is not about left and right as much as it is about putting globalists' policies over the national interest. If both Labour and Conservative are fighting for the centre ground, you will have a wafer difference between both parties, hence the right and left cheek of the same backside. Also, it was said we need immigration to keep wages down. Could we assume that this is some form of modern-day slavery? We should take bets on how long it is before the population turns on labour.

The conservatives reduced the wages so that companies could bring people in (with their families) on lower wages than what they needed to pay British workers. They also allowed students to bring their families over with them when studying at British Universities. They said (according to their manifesto) that they would only allow people into the country if they got paid from memory £47 000 per annum. In fact they were allowing people in with their families for jobs paying £24 000 / annum (from memory).

I could never or would ever vote Labour, I live in Wales and after 27 years of Labour health and social care is on its knees, Welsh Steel is almost gone, covid lockdowns pathetic, our roads are downright dangerous, position on Ukraine is crazy - where is the peace talks 🤷‍♀️ Not listening to the people when a party is in power, only to try and change position and win them back only after they lose does not persuade the informed voter - when trust is lost, you can debate all day long it won’t change the fact that trust was everything and you broke that trust. We now have a Labour government that even hardened labour voters are fearful of - God help us 🙏

Isn't any of this because we lived through problems that the Tories didn't have answers to - eg the energy bills crisis. The right wingers don't want net zero and are happy with shareholders pushing prices up in an industry where there is very little risk. Having publicly owned energy that's generated from UK-based renewable energy means you're in control of your own destiny as a country and doesn't contribute to climate change.

@AmericasChoice
@AmericasChoice Месяц назад
Labour's policy on energy is fundamentally flawed, as is the Democrat Party's here in America. This is my prescription for both the UK and US 1) Exploit all domestic supplies of oil, gas and coal (clean coal burning technology exists and it works) Also, drastically reduce anti fossil fuel regulation 2) Make serious efforts to bring nuclear energy back on line by deregulation and tax incentives . It is the cleanest and most reliable way to generate electricity. Most European Green Parties support it. Furthermore, SMR's (Small Modular Reactors) are much cheaper to build and can safely supply energy to all parts of the UK. These SMR's have been safety powering the U.S. Navy's nuclear submarines and capital ships for over 5 decades. 3) Drastically reduce Government expenditure on renewable energy, especially the wind farms, which are a blight on the land and produce very little energy as a percentage of UK/US energy production. Without government subsidies these wind farms would not exist. 4). Practically all technology and equipment related to renewable energy comes from China. Reliance on any foreign power, lets alone China, is a major security risk. Energy independence is a major security improvement.

But there is bound to be a By Election come along at some point and with his own standing and supported by Farage & Co, he ought to walk back into the Commons as a Reform MP.
