I read this book I could not put it down It was interesting and I really got lost in the story. Jackie is forever an interesting glamorous woman. She died so young I’m glad she didn’t have to suffer the loss of her son five years later I recommend this book It fleshed out other aspects of the family that gave me a different viewpoint

Jackie feared for her children’s life after the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. Jackie wanted to leave the United States for their safety. This other man was foreign and that was appealing to her.

She probably despised JFK who cheated on her at every turn as she was well aware of his infidelities. She was an ambitious woman and she knew exactly what she was doing. Marrying another man after only 4 months of mourning is classic

It was a few months after Bobby’s murder that she married Ari. This was years after JFK murder. I can’t blame her; I would have left this country on first thing smokin if I had young Kennedy children. And Rose Kennedy had put her on a strict budget. It was time to go. Ari was perfect for what she needed; money, security, and an exit from America. Funny thing is Ari’s family thought she brought the curse to them.
