Can you please organize the HDIGH playlist so it plays through from Episode #1 and doesn't have a bunch of episodes missing? I'm rewatching all of Jae and Alexa's old videos but it's criminal how low some of their views are and I have to constantly stop to search up each one separately to bring them up as they don't even come up on "Up next' for autoplay.
Diane: "I am here, Estoy aquí" Jae: What? Diane: I am here es "Estoy aquÍ". You are the one from Argentina LMAO, everyone knows that Jae doesn´t know how to speak in spanish xd
In some companies in Germany they will ask you to not put your name (and photo) on your application/resume besides in the very beginning so an employee can give it to the one making the decisions without revealing your name, therefore it's basically impossible to judge them based on ethnicity, gender, etc and they have to rely on your education and experience :)
Diane Kang is such an inspiration. I mean, as I watched dive studios's podcasts which have various interesting topics to discuss, I realized how brilliant Diane is. Can I, can I be your friend? Hahaha really wanna learn some from herrrrrr omaga seriously
Me: If you were named Brian Dennis, maybe you wouldn't be on Day6. You might be a banker or some finance person today. 😂 Also me: But you got a Brian on Day6 tho. And you never call him YoungK. 😂
OMG DIANE I TOTALLY GET IT. That email mistake thingy is soooooo annoying like you can type my email perfectly but type my name wrong in the message, like... HOW????
I appreciate Jae's not being versed in the professional world bc same...and I start SO many with "to whom it may concern" soo...v relatable. Also, my name is not even that hard to pronounce but I've given up trying to correct people. Like they literally combine my first and last name and I'm like "yep. that's me...Lorenzo Rizzo." I actually do go by my middle name in some settings bc no one will ever misspell or misunderstand Victoria.
i want to say the whole racism about a name is an American thing...i work online and on phone and when i use my real name people say things like "maybe you would understand better if you were an american" or "i want to talk to an american or someone in America" but after i changed my name to Madison that all stopped in fact i get Americans saying "that's unique I've never heard that before" this is in 2020...i have also experienced the no call back for jobs or apartments due to my name...racism is alive and well we have laws against discrimination based on race, religion, gender, nationality etc but not on names but the racism because of the name is always based upon one of the prohibited basis written in law you just can't prove it
jae you so strong for making this campaign (I might have written campaign incorrectly) but you so smart, strong and talented. even if sometimes you might think you are not strong or talented enough pls knowww you ARE. might not read this but I really wanted to say it.
Yo, Dennis it's a cool name. Actually that remember me to a famous spanish rock song by La Union - Lobo Hombre, the name of main character on the song is Dennis.
The Pacman game Jae talks about I did that too, it help me in school. I think the name is neurofeedback or something like that, is super weird, I hated being there tbh, even though it helped me in some ways
Haha nope, she’s the producer of dive studios. She sits in on all the podcasts, but only usually talks when it’s just one host. If you wanna hear more from her I’d recommend listening to the tablo podcast :)
The more you don't understand the subject, you get curious and just delve into the details. And then you realize that there's a whole new world out there to explore you know. I sometimes wonder how vast this world is and how little we know from it. A lot can happen on the internet in 60 seconds every single day. So imagine all the possibilities
I was acquainted with an Armenian girl in college who was named "Mufmudiah" (spelling?), which in the US legitimately contracts to "Muffin" as a nickname. She realized, however, that this was not sustainable. She did not, in her words, _want the be 40 years old and still called "Muffin",_ and asked the rest of us in the games club to call her "Dia" instead,
Look this up, y'all - IIRC, you should ideally spend a certain amount of your time in green nature, such as forests or fields, for a good emotional state.
Question for anyone/everyone at Dive Studios: Why are higher male voices seemingly more popular now instead of lower, deeper voices? Is by geographical area or cultural?
My sister was working at a store, a woman was looking for the manager and went straight to the white employee who was not the manager. When my Asian sister asked why the woman thought he was the manager he just pointed to his skin.
I hope no one takes this as offensive, I'm genuinely curious. Do you think the name change goes the other way, too? Like, for example, if a "white person" comes to live in an asian country, are they prejudiced, too? Do people (don't matter, if their european, american, latino etc.) change their name or add an asian name? Does that happen?
My last name being ✨Dennis✨ and can possibly be related to a ⚡handsome talented person⚡ but my luck is horrible and I know I have no chance of that being possible 🙂
22:38 dude been there The suffering is really I was honestly pissed this one time when I had to be hospitalized and these 3 nurses were gossiping hehe haha for legit 20mins with the needle still injected (it hurts so much... I lack blood as well)... They literally injected me for 5 times in 2 different places.... They did not secure the Canola that it came off and blood was just all over,,,, I was calling them, yet didn't come,,,, it was in a foreign country and one of the best hospitals -_-
