Like everyone else I’m also fed up seeing this message , so here’s my solution to fix the problem. Also today the start /stop system is back working again too. Fantastic result 😎👍🏻
My 2015 F-Type is my daily driver. Post-Covid, I've been working mostly from home. As a result, I often go 4-5 days without driving the car. I often received low battery warnings, and one day the car was absolutely dead. So I purchased a good trickle charger and leave it on the car if I know I won't be driving it for more than a week.
Thanks for this video. I’ve just bought a 2013 F type and it showed this issue too after driving the car back from Nottingham. I trickle charged with the CTEK until Green. But when I got in, it still had ‘low battery’ Do you also have the electric buzz/drone in the cabin when you are at low speeds? Forums say it’s the supercharger and a lose AC cable.
Yes I have the supercharger part in order. Getting replaced in march. Enjoy your car and don’t treat it like an ornament. Always dynamic mode and smile like f&&k 👍🏻😂😂😂
@@joemurphy7342 sorry joe. I’m getting mine replaced under warranty. If you get in touch with the nearest jag dealer then they can give you there exact cost. Also go on to the f type forum ad you will get a lot of free expert advice there. Also see if you have a local mechanic that fixes and services jaguar’s as they will be quite a bit cheaper. 👍🏻
@@randomtherapy . That’s a very poignant comment. I’ve been over precious with my F Type. Oct 22 I actually died for 2 minutes and the realisation that everything had been taken away from me in a nano second sunk home. No one is promised a tomorrow, enjoy 😊
Lovely looking car. What's your overall impression of EV cars? I personally don't think the infrastructure is there for most people without a garage. I follow one person who it took 8 hrs to get back from one location in the midlands of England to get back home and it should have taken an hour or so. Every stop he made on the motorway had either a broken charger point or a too long queue. He was not a happy man. x
Totally agree. Our country is nowhere near ready for EVs. Personally I love my V6 and the noise it makes. Go take one for a test drive and see how much it makes you smile x
