Hey Doug, so the key that you showed is actually a Ford key. The old Escorts, Focus and other models from mid 2000s also had the same key.

What was the point of being able to switch off/disable the cruise control? My 1998 406 Coupe has a button for that too, and it disables the CC stalk on the steering wheel. But it has been in the on-position for almost as long as I had the car

"Distinctively Jaguar" key? 🤣 no it's distinctively a Ford key which incidentally was also used on the Aston Martin DB7. It's no coincidence that Ford owned Jaguar and Aston Martin back in the 90s

The "cylindrical" key was not Jaguar distinctive. It was Ford distinctive. After some years of use didn`t worked.
