Eddy Burback I think it's great your pointing out the sick manipulation of Jake Paul, it's sadly gotten even worse. In his recent vlogs he tells his viewers that he's gonna sell a broken computer chair wheel for charity. In the next vlog he says he raises like 10 thousand dollars and then somehow in the eBay auction it messed it all up. His solution then becomes to instead donate the money or redo the auction, he plugs his merch saying that just 20% of proceeds will go to the charity and also tries to manipulate his viewers to never use eBay again. He can't just keep doing these things thinking that stupid drama and horrible songs will sustain him.

Him bragging and making a rap about fans that emailed him for help or just to talk cause they were depressed and suicidal should have been kept between him and those people, even though no names were mentioned it still seems wrong to feed off people’s struggles to help your image. Tbh I honestly don’t even know how something like him could ever help anyone since his ego is so huge his self love would get in the way.
@@Ublinked Not saying you're wrong, because I know "depressed" gets tossed around a lot by people who don't understand the full depth of it, but I was in the midst of crushing depression and an eating disorder by the time I was 14, and I've spent the last 7 years trying to dig my way out.
@@Ublinked Many many many people before the age of 14 do experience genuine depression or suicidal thoughts esp with the influx of child abuse in North America so I believe its ignorant to say that someone before 14 -or a majority of people who claim to- arent genuine if they claim to be depressed or any other similar mental disorder, mental problems don’t rely on age they rely on real issues -thought obviously some people will be faking stuff like that its still not a positive effort to assume someones faking it without actually speaking to that person directly and getting to know them-

Tim Daddy They don't have primitive brains. Just different tastes. And yeah people of all backgrounds can be depressed. And you don't necessarily have to have clinical depression to feel depressed either.
I think he intentionally acts stupid to throw everyone off his trail, the first rule for manipulation is "to play a fool, one must play a fool" he's really a sick person
I don't think so. I watched Shane Dawson's documentaries on it and there were some clips of Logan and Jake Paul working out hard as children and their dad pushing them and when I looked more into it, their dad really really pushed to work out and to work. Like he put them to work doing heavy manual chores, and teaching them to work hard. I think Jake Paul has a good business sense because of what his dad instilled in him as a child. Also pretty sure his brother is a sociopath, and even if he's not, Logan and his dad are much more callous in the way they speak off camera then Jake seems to be. He's the younger brother and it seems like his dad and Logan push him around a little which makes me think that's why hes good at manipulation. His dad and Logan are full of shit and messed with him so much he knows how to mess with and manipulate people himself. BUT I think he's also simple minded. Not a secret villain genius, just doesn't think things step by step, misses alot of key clues, can't use basic problem solving skills, stuff like that. And that's why he always makes such dumb, wtf are you doing mistakes. He also comes off as kinda dumb too when he talks. His Edfluence videos, the way he talks in interviews, the book he wrote, they show comprehension skill of an eighth grader. I think the areas where his intelligence and perspective fall through the cracks are filled in and smoothed over by a smart and crafty manager or agent which is why he's able to manipulate kids and make millions on a much bigger scale. Just a theory though.

Jake 100% is acting a fool because he knows exactly how to manipulate his audiences to maximise profits. he literally has talked in professional business seminars about his tactics.

Why isnt this Eddy guy way more popular. you can tell he has some intelligance that translates to smart humour, His sense of Comedian is some what Seinfeldish.
Also: what is cool about having your fan base be literally a bunch of ten year olds? Like, if I became a celebrity, I’d want at least good portion of my fan base to be beyond the point of requiring a babysitter when their parents go out.
Okay, I can't find the original comment for the life of me, but someone posted something along the lines of, "If we condemed every single star or celebrity who manipulated their audience for money there would be no one left." First of all, there are tons of people who make good content and don't exploit their audience or the people that they work with. Secondly, if that was the case: good. We don't need Hollywood or any other entertainment platform if that's what it's causing. I hope anyone who's ever used their stardom to exploit, manipulate, or hurt anyone gets what's coming to them and loses their platform.
Alot of people do hate him and comment on his and brothers behavior, BUT RU-vid and alot of other things make alot money off of them so they won't do anything about the things the Paul Brothers do. Which is sad since his fans children.
When Jake did all those charitable things he wasn't doing it to be nice, true heroes don't seek compensation and knowingly commit self sacrifice. Giving some backpacks away and seeing a sick kid isn't heroic, and it's vilanous to put in a video and exploit those deeds for profit.
The ones I always like to hear about are the ones that come out of the blue that so-and-so celebrity has been quietly doing X charity every month for the last 15 years kinda shit. I'm always like "Holy shit, what an awesome guy/gal!" With guys like Jake Paul, it's clearly the bare minimum. His publicist/agent said "You should do this, it will look really good for you" so he did it.

An ad popped up right when he was talking about the what the RU-vid distrack opens up with and I was actually watching the ad thinking that Jake actually put a fake ad at the beginning of the video and was waiting for it to cut back to Eddy.
I know you probably hate the fact that you feel the need to make this videos but I appreciate so much that there are others who actually can't tolerate this sick stupidity in a person our age.
