Don't get me wrong, but I never bought Bad News's claim that Vince McMahon was going to make him the WWF Champion and that he left the WWF because Vince went back on his word.. Yeah, Bad News was not even the top heel in the company (that was Ted and Macho Man and was moving towards Earthquake), and Vince was going to elevate him ABOVE Hulk Hogan, above Ultimate Warrior, above Macho Man, above DiBiase, above Earthquake. I've lost count of the amount of singles and tag team wrestlers who have claimed that Vince promised them a title over the years, and then reneged on it. If Allan Coage (Bad News Brown) thought that Vince McMahon would seriously consider him as WWF Champion over Hulk Hogan ... he was out of his mind.

Very few people took issue with Roddy. Brown had a chip on his shoulder and didn't like Roddy because he was a legendary smart ass who would do and say anything to draw money and make the match a hit success. It didn't make him a racist. He loved everyone equally, as it was shown in many interviews he did before his death. But Roddy was an opportunist who loved making money, even if it put his life on the line. And it's not true that Roddy wouldn't do a job for anyone. Roddy did lots of jobs for lots of people. He just didn't do jobs on TV because Roddy knew if he had a long history of losing on TV his Hot Rod character would be done for. As a heel, Roddy wanted to be as big and over as any baby face.
Oh you are full of it. Tony Atlas also called Piper a racist and we clearly see that Piper went too far with his racist comments. Piper seems to have become a better man in the end and sure enough was a super talent but he was nasty and selfish in the business. Funny how to save your hero that Brown has to have a chip on his shoulder. Brown didn't have any issues with anyone else and even resolved his issues with Andre but still had issues with Piper. Piper is one of my favorite heels but he was a mess and delusional. He also got Orndorff and Orton fired up over Mr T and wanted to hurt him instead of doing business.
