Unreal. 7:23.63 (3rd on the all time ranking), with a blazing finish of 54.0 (L400m), 25.8 (L200m) and 12.8 (L100m). Final kilometre: 2:24.51. And this was done less than 24 hours after Jakob ran the 3rd fastest mile of all time (3:43.73)

Kejelcha tried to pull off a Wightman/Kerr on Ingebrigtsen but this time Jakob learned his lesson & kept his lead using the inside. Makes it even more believable that he was battling illness in Budapest because you would think he learned this lesson last year.
Daniel Komen 7:20.67, final 400m: 59.09 Hicham El Guerrouj 7:23.09, final 400m: 59.67 Noureddine Morceli 7:25.11, final 400m: 54.2 Kenenisa Bekele 7:25.79, final 400m: 56.03 Jakob Ingebrigtsen 7:23.63, final 400m: 54.0 (!)
So often you would see in the home straight the guy in front would start moving towards lane 2 so that the other guy cannot pass. As far as I see, Jakob didn't move an inch.
