Our Gear:
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
amzn.to/2L55pDR
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
amzn.to/2WbTNFH
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
amzn.to/35AWqUs
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.
amzn.to/2YDeADt
Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here
Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Jattractions so true am tired of hearing how dangerous Jamaica is. And how you will get murdered and that people shouldn’t leave their resorts. My boyfriend is white American and based on what he reads on the internet he’s scared. It’s funny that I find this video because yesterday I was telling him there’s so much more than crime in Jamaica. I want him to really see Jamaica without being scared 😆

Driving is NOT laid back, like other aspects in Jamaica! Accidents are frequent and often serious! Either hire a driver or take tours recommended thru your hotel from JUTA or thru your hotel for destinations, so you don't miss this country's beautiful sites!

The bread fruit is roasted over open flames wood fire, on the stove top and rarely in the oven and that's an example of what it looks like in the photo you showed. But it maybe also be boiled and that's when I'd has more of a boiled potato texture. Btw after it's roasted you can eat it just like that or you can slice it up and fry it. It's super good.

I love Jamaica. And the biggest thing that shocked me is the motorcycle taxis. And how many people they ride at a time. And babies in the handlebars Lol. The random goats everywhere. The funerals. And how truly loving people are. I go back a lot. And will probably be moving finally permanently there next year. I have never felt unsafe day or night. And I have been all up in the country from St. Ann’s to Black River. And everywhere in between. Jamaica is amazing.

Seafood depends on where you live. I grew up on a lot of seafood. We didn’t get much meat and used to beg my mom for chicken. We ate a lot of fish, conch, shrimp and bussu. From Port Antonio 😁 but I went to the country a lot. We catch shrimp as children from the river a lot. also a lot of Jamaicans everywhere have fish on Friday’s.

Yes, we have a ton of seafood dishes! Lol There are many especially rundown, escovitch, pepper shrimp, "steamed fish", and every Jamaican eats fried fish! I just saw a ton of cooking series on here yesterday, some featuring nothing but seafood! lol

It's so sad most tourists stay in their gated communities. I spent a week at an Air BnB in Ocho Rios and another in Port Antonio. Took local taxis everywhere and NEVER had a problem. Everyone wants to chat and as you say, there is so much to do, especially compared with other Carribean islands. Dunn River Falls/Blue Lagoon/Blue Hole were incredible!

This is because the don't want the local to make any money. All lies they don't want the tourist to mix with the locals please visit the local craft market next time.

@@wendymorris6611 We spent all our money with local businesses. I also found it very sad that most beaches are owned by resorts so cannot be accessed by the locals. Winifred beach was only saved after a massive protest I believe.

Jamaica is so beautiful, and all the people there make you feel like your home .Ive talked to many people who have traveled other places ,and say Jamaica is the best hands down. I love how they plant what they eat , and eat what they grow...no chemicals, or pesticides. One love ❤️, can wait to come back home 🌴🍹
