Yeah u guys rep it hard. I dont blame other Blacks not in predominantly Black countries as they were trained to have self hate, not syaung this doesnt exist in Africa.
I just came back from South Africa. I got treated like a queen when I told them I was from Jamaica. The love was really. Shout out to South Africans. Thanks for showing me love.
That's good because they don't like foreigners. Especially African foreigners. When my cousin, who's from Zimbabwe but is now a S African citizen, told me "they (S Africans) don't like black Americans."
I know a lot of Ethiopian and Eritrean women in the UK. Very, very attractive women. Some had been to Jamaica and came back saying your country is beautiful. They clearly enjoyed themselves.
I was not born in Jamaica but I’m proud of my Jamaican brothers and sisters for going to learn about our motherland. I think Jamaicans and Nigerians are a lot alike. I’ve been to Egypt , Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco… & all were our ppl treated me with love and respect. Yes we all must visit Africa, it’s where all came.🙏🏿
@@WongelZelalem I love Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and all my African sister and brother We Jamaican learn about Ethiopia through rasta culture can't wait to set my foot on the motherland I'M NOT AN AFRICAN BECAUSE I WAS BORN IN AFRICA AFRICA WAS BORN IN ME 🥰💯👍❤️👊🌍🌍🌍
Bob Marley really put Jamaica on the map i remember when I was a child in Africa all my uncle especially at night in the day time also was listening to Marley even if most of us didn’t know what he was saying being from Senegal.
I'm Kenyan. There used to be a Jamaican website, before RU-vid, called Muzik Media. It was so good. That's where I used to go watch music videos etc. It's still there but it still looks like it used in 2004
But Wongel, look how long I have been telling you that, we Jamaicans, we see you Africans as our ancestors. When Nigerians, Ghanaians, South Africans come to Jamaica they just blend right in. The Jamaican children love the African accents. The connection is very strong. Peace and love from a Jamaican ☮☮❤❤
🇯🇲 We love africa/africans as a jamaican grown up in jamaica i never once heard any discrimination towards africa/africans in jamaica WE 🇯🇲 ❤ AFRICA/AFRICANS ALWAYS❤❤❤
Africans love Jamaica and its people. Our History is similar,Jamaica strongly opposed Apartheid and many of their artists sang so many anti apartheid songs. Being from Zimbabwe myself,we have so much in common with Jamaica, our flags are similar,in terms of sports we both love cricket,we both love football. In terms of music,we have Zim-dancehall music which is inspired by Jamaican dance hall music. Last but not least,Bob Marley visited Zimbabwe for our independence celebrations, his performance is in our history books forever.
See! That's the ish I'm talkin about!. See Africa! The love you show to your cousins across the waters means a lot to us. That's why we want the best for Africa!
Jamaican in South America had a very very similar experience. It was pure love every time I mentioned I was jamaiquino. We are loved in the whole Global South.🥰

Yes Wongel we are here on the rock. Jamaican people crazy over Africans too, after all Ethiopia is the Rastaman's promised land while the rest of us call most other Africans, Nigerians 😅, until we're educated to the correct country.
I love your channel! Thanks for sharing the love from Africa. We Jamaicans love Africa too. 😊😊 Thanks you so much for sharing this video! This is beautiful! This is a good message for my Jamaican people cause our people tend to be very negative about our country.
Crazy love and respect received as a 🇯🇲 when I was in Ghana ….proud to see you Wongel united with a Kenyan too - come on to JA - Lalibela is the dream pilgrimage though …
That's very good to hear, because for too long Jamaica used to get a bad rap especially from the western media, but the Continent of Africa is our real home for us and no one can deny the love and harmony we are getting from our African brothers and sisters when we visit the Continent. Big up 🇯🇲👍
Yes baby steps first in our reunion the Diaspora has so many tangled cultural webs but over time the connections dialogues and cultural exchanges will mold us together in unity as one Melanated People living permanently on our Melanated Continent Shalom Achoti Wongel
We Jamaicans🇯🇲 love Ethiopia🇪🇹💚💛❤ Love Awassa Shasamane 🇪🇹🇯🇲! 🇪🇹🇯🇲OneAFRICA! #AfricanUNITY #TheONLYoption #TheONLYsolution! Rastafari! Selassie I! Blessed love my beautiful 🇪🇹African Empress! Ameseginalehu! Afekirihalehu!❤❤⚘⚘
This is so funny, went to a business place to make a purchase yesterday, met a gentleman whom I immediately recognized as a Jamaican by his accent, addressed him as ‘mi bruddah’ and he just lit up. It is just the West Indian way, we just love to meet our fellowmen anywhere on the planet. JAH!!!
In agreement with most of the comments Wongel... In spite of not being born on the Continent, any negative info from the Mother Land, is irrelevant... Africa, (Alkebulan) is Mecca. YAH Bariki... 🙏🏿♥️ Ubarikiwe.
As a Senegalese i have always have this special love for Jamaicans because i feel that they genuinely love Africa and they know who they are and where they come from. Marcus Garvey the father of panafricain is from Jamaica.
From Canada with hava. I am a Hebrew who was born in the prison of Yard as well. Some day as per prophecy ( Isaiah 14 and 60; Psalms 126 and Jeremiah 50 and 51) to name and illustrate a few scriptures. Indeed, The Hebrews aka the Black diaspora will be repatriated with reparations. KumbaYah, HalleuYAH and Baruch 2:28-35.
had the same experience when i landed in kenya, the guy at the airport saw my jamaican passport and took me out the line and straight through diplomatic line. was treated like a king there that i went back twice
Wongel- I can feel the enthusiasm in your face while filing this report. That speaks volume! I’m not a Jamaican born but, some of my cousins have a Jamaican born father or mother. Thanks!
How can we hate how people, our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers We know why you are angry. You angry because we abandoned you and we allow criminal colonisers to have field day. We are sorry and we are sorry on behalf of our ancestors. But in this generation onward we are rooting for you. You don't need to abandoned your new hones in the Caribbean oor America but come back home, you belong to everywhere but your home is Africa. We do not need DNA, we know you lineage when we see you.
Why do others melanated people around the world think we african will treat them bad is kinda cringe, we african are naturally warm people all this we need to united ba is so unnecessary lol why dont you guys united with people in Caribbean the same goes with america
I'm am working hard to get that AFRICAN experience and probably will NEVER come back to the United States EVER. AFRICA UNITE! CONSCIOUS BLACK PEOPLE RISE UP! ONE LOVE!
Ive Said it over and over that Jamaicans are the real Africans family outside of Africa. They never lost their roots..Africa is with them all the time, especially in their music even though the Insecure West was trying to tag them as 'Weed' smokers because they were Afraid of them...the deep knowledge they have about Blacks in history...they are the first say to global audience that the real hebrews werr black, blacks were among the first settlers in the Americas and around the world, Jesus isnt White but black or Dark, most prophets in the Bible were blacks and a whole lot. Whenever and wherever most Africans and most Jamaican meets.. in England, Canada, U.S., Europe, Asia, Americas etc we bonds very quickly that's why most fits in perfectly everywhere in Africa they choose to visit or live and vice versa. Peace from Ghana 🇬🇭 to my brethren in Jamaica 🇯🇲
