You are right about a moment in time. I was 32, been married for13 years with two children and rushing in the mall to find a pay phone to call my husband. No mobiles in those days. suddenly this guy stood in front of me to stop my forward motion and said “ you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” I merely ducked around him and continued on my way. I just remember him as tall and in a business suit, white shirt and tie along with that comment. Never forgotten the lovely moment of nice words.

James does have a voice that captures you and writes lyrics that can haunt. Not many youtubers have reacted to the ‘ Monsters’ song and video. I thought it was very brave of those that did and allowed us to witness their raw emotions. I cried along with all of them. It’s just so relatable 😔
James Blunt on Twitter is pretty funny. His song Monster (video with his dad) will have you sobbing. His father has (had?) kidney disease, and Monsters was a tribute /“goodbye” to his dad.
I've actually warmed to him in recent years, he took loads of stick in the UK over his class and accent but responded to it perfectly by gently mocking himself as well

That’s just my complaint Sue, Javon has it wrong. He is NOT a one hit wonder here. I am in Canada and have been a fan of his from day 1. I own most of his albums. Wisemen, Sun On Sunday, Best Laid Plans, Always Hate Me and I’ll Take Everything are some deep album cuts that are absolute favorites of mine. It actually irked me when he said one hit wonder. I think what he did was assume he was a one hit wonder because he had never heard of him before. Trust me, he is NOT. I saw James open for Ed Sheeran a few years ago here in Toronto. Dream come true for me to see both guys in one night.

Saw him years ago at the Moore Theater in Seattle. Sara Bareilles opened for him. He had just released his second album. They were both great! Such a memorable night. I was in the second row. One of my favorite concerts!
He also served as one of the Queens Royal Guards for a while. This song was composed at the actress, Carrie Fisher’s (Star Wars) house, in her bathroom, because he liked the acoustics!

Love James Blunt, his voice is so unique. His tweets are hilarious too so witty! He has lots of great songs, I recommend 'Bonfire Heart' and 'The Truth'. There's a follow-up video to this song released on his new album last year called 'Cold'
This totally happened to me - riding the T in Boston with my then BF and I had a moment with some guy. on the train. Then this song came out. It definitely caught my breath! Nice memory.

Please react to Monsters. I love all of his songs but the video for Monsters is so amazing. I love that his dad is in it. His dad received a new kidney in January and is doing well. James said in many interviews that the song Monsters inspired a lot of people to donate their kidneys. So incredible.
this is my song in highschool, i liked this girl for 4 years Freshman to Senior, I started singing so she can noticed my voice. she was giving me the eyes i looked at her back n smile she smiled back but the thing is my ENGLISH is broken..... and my head keeps saying she already has a boyfriend move on,i did move on but my HEART says tell her how you feel so i added her in facebook in my junior year. I told her meet me in the library. She was there waiting for me but my body won't move. I told my friend tell her i'm sorry i was doing something. I told her i'm sorry on fb i told her maybe next time. Several months later n we had that football game she was a performer in a band. At the end of the game I told my friend push me, i did walked a couple of steps but my body won't move. I didn't tell her how i feel. next day i deleted. now i have regret bc everytime when i sleep i always see her in my dreams.... i didn't gradute highschool i can't get a job i can't even drive in a different timeline i know we're married, i'm succesful, i have a big house, stuff like that and so on
