In the days leading up to the 2023 @silkroadmountainrace , filmmaker @chrismcclean spent some time at altitude with @jamesmarkhayden as he prepared his body and his mind for the gruelling race ahead.
It was James’ fourth attempt at the race and he has developed a deep attachment to the landscape; Gripped by it’s beauty, it’s people and a remoteness & isolation that few of us will get to experience.
