It's 2023 and I still collect DVDs

I miss these old Cinemassacre days.

I've watched this like 10-12 times over the past few years and I have no idea why.

I'm nerding the fuck out over these videos.

You guys ever thought of doing a revisit to your dvd collections? Sort of a James' and Mike's dvd collections part two?

I am so jealous of that DVD shelf. Not even just the collection--the SHELF.

This is super nostalgic. Same as renting VHS in the 80s and 90s. Shopping dvds in the 2000s was such a huge part of my life. I had at least 3 huge dvd collections exactly like this. 2002-2012 RIP

Totally agree with you Mike about no Trailers on DVD's but I will say this, "The Cable Guy" on bluray not only has the trailer, it has it in actual 1080p quality where as most blurays (those that have them lack of trailers in worse on bluray) are usually up scaled. Also The Cable Guy was goos value and is loaded with features like Commentary by Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller and Jud Apatow, usually Jim Carrey never does commentary on his films. So for me The Cable Guy was one of my favorite blurays to own. :)

I think Mike's the only one I've ever heard say they like the 50s version of The Thing better than the 80s John Carpenter version. They're both awesome though. Even the new one that came out a few years ago was an awesome addition to the franchise.

I've just finished writing the script for a video with my DVD recollections. This has inspired me to make a little video about my own DVD/Blu-Ray collection.

I would love another update of Mike's DVD collection! Maybe talk a little more about his not inconsiderable cartoon collection--because who doesn't love cartoons? I know you guys did an episode about his VHS collection but I'm curious to see his thoughts on some of the recent cartoon Blu-Rays. Also, where does he buy his shelves

I'm more or less the same when it comes to my book collecting; everything has to look perfect in alphabetical/chronological order or I'm not satisfied.

I like these types of videos. Feels like we're just kinda hanging out with them, in a sense. I'd also like to see more game collections from both of them. Neat stuff!

I think those Wayne's world dvds are the same realses my brother has. The menus on those are so cool, it's like a TV guide and you can watch short previews of other Paramount releases like The brady Bunch.

5 years later and everything is on his cloud, you guys should do an update to this

I love those movie packs that come with tons of movies from a single genre, sometimes you can find obscure movies that are fun to watch with friends

I didn't see any of my favourites like Apocalypse Now, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Deer Hunter, Goodfellas, Seven Samurai, The Intouchables etc in his collection but im pretty sure they've watched most of them.

I own that same Droopy DVD And I haven't noticed any issues that Mike was talking about. I would actually recommend it if you're a Droopy fan.
