You can tell in all these videos how nervous Jon is. I think James see's him as an equal but Jon is clearly starstruck most of the time and stumbles over his words a lot and his composure is pretty telling. And I would be too! James is a legend and a man who helped pioneer today's RU-vid culture.

It's funny, because at the end of the day, they're both pretty normal guys who just love video games and movies. But because of how successful they are and how much we love their content, a lot of us hold them to a much higher regard. It's like meeting a prince - or even the king, so we get starstruck

I don't have nearly as many, but I have definitely over 100, with the many types of cases over time, you know. And the sad thing is that they all still work. My VCR still works and the movies themselves are fantastic, but there's just less drive to watch them nowadays. I did recently watch Mouse Hunt (absolutely hilarious) on VHS, and it felt like a good old fashioned movie experience. Good memories!

Storing them vertical. Maybe the room is good temp and insulated well. Print through would be a concern though, not ever playing them. I had a few audio tapes do that before.

I highly respect anyone who tries to preserve the past. I hate it when media goes lost. It`s sad like a piece of history has gone missing forever. I agree, there is a huge difference between 80s kids and 90s kids, and I think it's mainly due to the internet. Children of the 80s were the last to grow to adolescence in a world without the internet; as an 80's kid myself (b. 1982) I feel like I have more in common with people 10, 20, even 30 years older than me than people 10 years younger than me. It's really weird.

I'd love to see James' VHS collections. Takes me back to my old local VHS store where some genius who ran the place thought putting the 'Horror' section right opposite the 'Kid' section was a good move. It was not. The box cover to Hellraiser still gives the creeps.

I was always drawn TOWARD the the horror/action movie sections as a kid, lol. I'd wait til my mom wasn't around and wander over to check out the back covers in hopes of catching a glimpse of some gory screenshots. Never got to watch any of them until much later, though.
