I first LIKED this and then dis liked. James Spader has an IQ score way above Genius. I don't know why he wasted his time in movies whereas he could have succeeded in any pursuit. I think his family just taught him to be humble.
Yes he really oozes intelligence, but well at least he did something. I suspect most geniuses are underachievers who end up in a dead end job, playing sudoku online in their free time to stimulate their supercharged brains. Maybe if he wasn't so damn good looking in his younger days he would've found a cure for cancer by now ;)
I agree about his iq, for sure. He's *so* well-read, and can talk about nearly any subject with intelligence. The funny thing is , he actually *did* pursue a ton of things. It's partly what he bases some of his "Red-monologues" on. For instance the "Value Loyalty Above All Else" speech about hauling away old carpets for the man in the neighborhood is partially true (he really did do that for summer money). He also was a yoga teacher, worked in a record store (while also doing qualuudes runs for his employers) . "One more night of jazz at the Vanguard" (he's a huge jazz fan) was also written by him. He has said more than once that acting was just a "way to pay the bills". I wouldn't be at all surprised if one random day he retires from acting and becomes a world-class chef or painter or something.
I disagree. Women have to deal with unruly undergarments far more than men. If they don't think so, then either of them have yet to experience wearing a thong. Also, I wish turkey could be exchanged for poached salmon once in a while.
