Yes the Pleasure Principle! Janet said she gets the most response from fans about this video being their favorite. She was so young breaking away from her parents control, brother’s shadow, and little girl image. Janet earned her superstardom. ⭐️

This was after her When I Think of You video, her final Paula Abdul choreographed video. She lost about thirty to fourth lbs and straightened her hair which was taking Black women out of an era of curly/jheri curlesque hair. She was also showing off more of her shape.

@@burlhorse61 no but this was the last video from the Control album...the wild thing was she was gone for like almost a year and then she came back with this song! In the 80's, not many artists could make an album last for over a year, but Janet did. When she came back she looked completely different! Just fine! Penny had grown up!

This is from her 1986 album called Control (the video was done in 1987 - its actually on her shirt but its written backwards 1987 PP); she started working with Jimmy jam and Terry Lewis on this album; before this album she had two other albums (1982 and 1984) but they weren't a major success; she always considers Control her first album though
