You can feel the unspoken tension in the room as soon as Michael Jackson's name is mentioned. Because as a fan, you're worried the interviewer is going to say something hurtful. And people wonder why Michael Jackson doesn't do very many interviews, well this is why. The media have grilled him most of his life
i love love love the fact that Janet always defends Michael... and that shes not afraid to tell people that they do not know him like his family does of course. And even Michael has said himself that growing up in front of 100 million people since the age of 5 automatically makes you different. trading in a childhood for hard work so that children growing up during that time like myself would have someon to look up to...and I just love him and Janet always... may he rest in peace
@@tur74d56 Let's be real. Janet's influence in modern day pop music has been far more prevalent than any other artist. She pretty much created the Contemporary R&B and Neo-Soul sound that we know today alongside Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and always kept making it feel fresh. Madonna on the other side had to work with the hottest producers of each period in order to sound more contemporary (though you can see that she clearly had a vision). Not to invalidate Madonna's impact in the music industry at all, because she absolutely is an icon and has a plethora of classic bangers for sure, but she's only called the queen of pop because she sold more, whereas Janet had a far bigger impact on the grand scheme of things. Modern pop music wouldn't sound as it does if it wasn't for her.
Michael's lifestyle did make him somewhat depressed.. but it brought him so much joy also. He couldn't do the things everyone else does, like shopping in a mall or lunch with friends.. but he was able to reach and help so much people because of who he was. So his fame definitely was a bittersweet thing for him. I don't know why people thought he was "Weird" though.. if anything he was very eccentric.
When he was talking about thoose foods I did that face she did. I love her!! I feel uncomfortable for her when people keep bringing up the superbowl thing..
In part 1 of this interview Ross was funny and kinda nice but in this part of it he seemed kinda rude and mean in a way especially when he was talking about Michael.
At 8:41 you can tell that she was BORED and was just ready to end this awkward ass interview but didn't want to be rude even though she could have up and left waay sooner. When does the guest ever dismiss themselves from the show? She'd had enough.
I think Janet wants to kick this guy's ass HAHA She is usually SOO friendly on interviews but in this one in particular, she is soo quiet. I love how she stands up for Michael. She is soo pretty. I love her shoes too :P GOO JJ AND MJ!! i love uuu
I was rather shocked at the things she was asked, and was pleased that she was such a lady about it as well. I am also glad to see that she stood by Micheal as well. Love Janet's class, and her way she carries herself. I would have also knocked him out for some of his remarks.
I think MJ was more normal than everybody gave him credit for but I do believe he was unhappy & stressed in many ways because of the world around him. I think he had many good days too. Basically I dont think he was THAT happy like she said. But love her & MJ
I think that people don't want to see Janet and Michael as seperate people b/c they are soo close..But they are soo alike in mannerisms but soo different ..Like their music kinda vibed off each other.. They had similar ideas but diff. ways of expressing them..and in their dancing..Like michael had more signature moves he was know for while Janet on the other hand can adapt to any style of dance and didn't really have signature moves..so they are alike in many ways but yet soo different..
@supermjjfan1 I knew many of the fans of Michael is like who I was Michael is flawless and perfect. And yet he is almost perfect in my heart always, but he is a human. He can get stressful and need help from medicine, and the bad doctors drove him in a wrong usage of them! That's what Janet means, and she means well! I loveee Janet. And everyone is gonna dissagree but i think her and MJ are the same strength of talent-meaning that neither are better than the other. Because they are both good in there own way! The way Janet dances isn't at all really the way MJ dances except Rhythm Nation. They don't sing alike really... and yeah, i think they are both better than great. And MJ did bleech his skin but thats all ppl listen to.. he had to bleech it to even out his skin tone. RIP MJ x LY janet!

I live in England and have never heard someone refer to a crumpet as a pieclit?! Janet handled the interview very well - he was so cheeky and 'shady' - he was so uncomfortably suggestive in this interview , I think. Those MJ questions went too far. I don't like it when people talk about what they don't know. MJ needs help? - all that was based on tabloid junkie lies. Janet is her own star. Love her!
my brother actually has the same skin condition...it runs on his fathers side of the family so i wish people would stop talking about Michael's skin...My brother had 2 use creams and radiation on his skin 2 help kind of even out the tone..that skin condition is real
@supermjjfan1 When you think about it more, why Latoya and Jermaine was such a person who talk bad things about Michael in the pass but now start praising him, was not because they start loving him more, they love Michael and I believe they really do. it was a GREAT interview until he started to diss Michael a little bit and Janet came right to his defense and she gave the hint to get off Michael and he caught the mood change and changed the subject
the first one was when he was saying that justing timberlake was getting an eyfeul of her accident and the 2nd time was when they were talking abouthim getting his rectal pierced which is why he said they'll have to find a big one, and thats when she said he was shady
I wish people would not bring up michael whenever JANET was being interviewed. Why not ask, hows the family??? She has such a legendary, expansive career, there are so many questions he couldve asked....ugh
whys everyone getting all offended? thats just the way johnathan ross interviews all his guests, and im sure janets people wud have been aware of that and made her aware of that before going on th show an i think johnathan ross asked her about her family in a blunt but fair and respectful way and i think janet handled herself reali well and looked comfortable and showed she has a good sense of humour
Michael's Fans should all learn Michael is just a human who can make mistake in his life! And stop dissing his family if you guys really love him and claim yourself his loyal fans! Cause it hurts Michael most while you are trying to say bad things about them!

Janet is the one who tell the truth always, and she really dun need to make up anything about Michael to get attention, cause she is the Queen in her own right!
Yeah but if you don't ask risky questions I think its will be a boring interview going about nothing really... If you wan't your show to be better watched then others you have to make a statement. And Janet did so many interviews in her live, that I think she knows how to handle it just fine.

@supermjjfan1 Have u seen a person getting drunk? they always doubt they were drunk! this is the situation that Michael was dealing with! He thought the medicine could eventually made him feel better, when it worst the problem. The more medicine he took, the more he cannot go to sleep or needs more pain killers to kill the pain. And no matter who kind of medicine you are taking it is not good for your health in a certain degree! Continued
