I used to drive for Lyft. When Janet Jackson had a concert here the crowd was huge! And my passengers were the happiest people I had ever picked up while I was driving. Being a fan of Janet Jackson myself I was very pleased to hear them say how wonderful her performance was. She's 'All that and a bag o' chips', Empress.

Classic R&B, has an El Debarge vibe. She was a spectacular talent.

I bought tickets for Janet Jackson in Berlin this week. I'm gonna see her for the first time ever live in October. Really excited.

This song was the final song of this album and a perfect song to ending the album. So sensual and very beautiful. The three last songs of this album was a ballad (''Lonely'', ''Come Back to Me'', ''Someday is Tonight'') and the three songs paired very well on the album. The rain that you hear in the debut of the song was a transition between ''Come Back to Me'' and ''Someday is Tonight''. This wasn't a single, but was a fan favorite and she never performed live. Seven of the twelve songs of this album was a single and all reaching the top 5 in US (four of them at n.1). This wasn't a sax, this was a trumpet at the end of the song. You heard all the song of this album except : ''State of the World'' ''The Knowledge (her first spoken word song) ''Livin in the World'' ''Lonely''.

Definitely the sequel to Control's 'Let's Wait Awhile' ("You know I promised I'd be worth the wait..."). Not a sax, tho. 😉 It's a trumpet, played by legendary Herb Alpert.

I guess that was JJ’s first sensual song. She was now Ms. Jackson and there was no turning back. Cool song for to put on RN1814 and show her transitioning into JANET.

That was Herb Alberti on the trumpet towards the end of the song. Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun is the first song where JJ was moaning. React to her short film Rhythm Nation 1814 and more of her albums from her first self titled debut album released in 82 and on please.
