Wow! It's where cherry blossoms are a serious business. People plan their lives around cherry blossom season, and I remembered myself getting everything ready for our TV show episode in Japan. Definitely one of the many things why I will visit Japan again.
Your travel vlog is a breath of fresh air, and I love how you bring each destination to life. By the way, have you seen the new v4 Bento Bag and the Ikigai Backpack from NomadLane? They seem like they'd fit right into your travel style.
First time be in Japan this year , and I’m just blown away . I can’t wait to be back again . But for the mean I’m in Europe in November 😂😂😂, low season for tourism and I love it , lesser tourist than usual .
Hi Kristy, I'm so glad to see you in Kyoto. As a 3rd generation Japanese, Japanese now a Canadian citizen living in Toronto for all my life its giving me a goosebumps and homesick. Anyway you look amazing with all the custom, awesome Enjoy youstay Arigato
We usually stop by Japan on the way back to the US from the Philippines. Love it, such a whole different vibe there, but still prefer the Philippines. Gotta stay quiet on public transportation was the one thing I was not used to. Very disciplined society. Love their vending machines. You headed for Shibuya too?
aww, too cute to be alone especially in kyoto. u shld hve lined up @ otowa waterfall and drank from it @ the base of kiyomizudera temple, to wish for a fortunate lovelife or there are two stones i believe is at he main hall of the temple that once u walk from one to the other while eyes closed will bring you goodluck in finding love. anyways, congrats on your dream trip. God Bless you more.
Aye, Kristy-- the frozen butter beer is the WORST one, haha. That's why you didn't like it. You should have just gotten the regular cold one. It's good!
Contrary to what his name might indicate, Glico’s iconic running man is based off a real person… Or rather 3 real persons. You see, Glico man’s look was a character tested with a focus group in which they’d determined that the original Glico running man’s face was too intimidating. Thus the face was changed into a smiling one based off of the 3 most popular runners’ pictures. The Glico company details 2 of the 3 runners that Glico running man was based off. One was Fortunato Catalon, a Filipino track & field runner that won gold in the 1923 Far Eastern Championship Games hosted in Osaka. The second was Shizo Kanakuri, a marathon runner active between 1912 and 1924 who is considered the father of marathon in Japan. The reason is that he was one of the only 2 athletes Japan sent in its first participation of the Olympic Games back in 1912. fujidaily.com/why-is-dotonboris-glico-running-man-sign-so-popular/
