I love your video on the Shikansen. I have used the Shikansen to travel from Tokyo to Osaka. Also I have used it to travel to other Japanese cities. They are quiet and efficient. The best train in the world. I always reserved a seat on the Shikansen. Best Regards from Tom.
Thanks you for your sharing Rion. Nice place and very good explanation for me to know and understand when I am traveling to Japan. Nice trip and excellent destination by Shinkansen.
I travelled to Japan in October last year. Travelled several areas within Tokyo. And went to Tokyo Disneyland. Than travelled to Yokohama. Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko by bus. Kofu to Nagano. (Train)Nagano to Nagoya(train). Nagoya to Osaka by shinkansan. Than Osaka back to Tokyo by bus.
Thanks for the comment Greg^^ It is happening because of you guys' support, I really appreciate that🤣 Arigatooo🤣🤣🤣! I will try my best to make more interesting and fun videos😊!
I’m literally sharing your videos in my FB page for them to see how wonderful Japan is. And of course, I really commend you for the hardwork in making these videos. ありがとう!!! I do hope to see you in Osaka someday. I’m planning to go back there maybe for a short visit or for work. Love lots from the Philippines 🇵🇭❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Rion San..another idea that I will do...and know where to get inexpensive food going to Tokyo.. In as much as I can I try my best to travel like a local...and get away from the tourist methods and spending. Your videos always helpful..domo arigato gozaimaisu...
Osaka eki and Namba station are really really crowded during rush hours. I love buying my ekiben and my hot lemon 🍋 tea at shin-osaka station before going back to Tokyo. The bakery 🥯 shop is also really good. Your video gives me lots of good souvenir as I travel to Japan almost twice per year to Japan ... except this year due to covid-19 😭😭😭
Thank you so much for the comment and sharing my videos as always🤣! haha, Tokyo is not bad neither though😁 But yes, Osaka, sweet town😊! Hope she has a great time in Japan😆!
Hello Rion, I saw the Namba Train station in your video.I love that place.I spent approx.5 hours in Namba Station there on my first day in Osaka,I was fascinated with the beautiful shops 😆😆😆😄 I enjoyed Namba and Dotonbori so much,I wasn't able to use my Osaka Amazing Pass 😄😆😃 I love Japan.I must visit again soon.I forgot to buy Japanese Incense in Osaka😃😃😃
5 hours in Namba Station, haah that's long enough😂😆👍 Osaka Amazing Pass is really good for people who wants to visit touristic places in Osaka, if you haven't visited popular places, maybe you can buy it next time😉 Sweet😊, it will be more fun in next year, you can always come back again😁👍
CalorieMate block was the only thing I asked my wife to get me when she went to Japan. She got me all flavors. My favourites are cheese (black label) and chocolate (brown label), which are unbelievably oishi, especially for an emergency nutrition bar. I have just realized that there are liquid and jelly CalorieMate too. I'll try those for sure. Good job, and arigatou, Otsuka! I'll surely bring home a bunch of CalorieMate blocks when I go to Japan myself.
😆😆😆👍 Love CalorieMate, pretty much all of them tastes good😁, my favorite one is fruits though😋 CalorieMate jelly one, I haven't tried it yet, I will look for it😁 haha, yup it's small, you can bring it back easily😉
Thanks for the comment Jon^^ It is my pleasure, and thank you so much for watching my videos😊 I will try to provide more and more travel or living tips in Japan, Please look forward to it😆👍
Hello Gulumser😆! Yes, Shinkansen is really fast and it's really exciting😁! Have you tried Ekiben "Shinkansen Bento box", those are pretty good too😉 (If you are okay with cold food though😅haha)
Hello what train did you ride from Shin-Osaka station to tokyo? Is it Hikari or Nozomi ? We are visiting Japan soon and we are planning to buy JR Pass and we will ride shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo. Thanks! By the way, I like the way you explain and giving tips to the viewers! More power to you!
I have a question. I saw in another youtuber's video that japanese people don't like to be filmed for youtube videos. I saw a lot of people looking at you in the station. Does filming bother them? Thank you! Love your videos! ☺️😊
@@RionIshida I don't understand the reason why they sell discounted tickets from a store than at the station. Can you please explain. Are you allowed to choose the departure date or whatever they have available? 🤔 Thanks. Btw, I watch your videos on a regular basis and enjoy them so much. Great joy.
I recommend to use Shinkansen😉 1. Plane ticket could be cheaper, but the train ticket could be expensive from your place to the airport. (Airport is usually in really inconvenient place in Japan) 2. Usually Shinkansen stations are in the middle of the city, so you can eventually save time. Maybe flight time is shorter than Shinkansen, but if you think about the time you need to spend to go to the airport, it might be a different result. So from those reasons, if you are not in the special occasion (live super near to the airport,,,, etc), I will recommend to use Shinkansen, unless you can have deep deep discounted ticket for the airplane😊
Rion your hair looks good in here XD.. before this situation happen i was planned to go to Tokyo from Osaka by night bus (in this case i use Willer bus), as a local which night bus you will recommend for travelling to Tokyo? I choose night bus since it will save my expense in hotel for one day.
Haha, Arigatooo ^^ Yes Willer bus is really popular company for the night bus😊 I usually use the website and pick the cheapest bus for the day whenever I take night bus😉
I just watched finished, i never in Japan nor take the shinkansen. You call the train station metro but we call it mrt. You stand on the right of escalators, but we stand on the left. The right is for those in the rush. Are you eating some sort of short bread? Is it cheaper to buy beer? Haha, i saw the tower in the vedio at 13:56 min. Whats that tower? I think i will be lost in Japan metro. Its a pity all bento sold out, like it at 6:46 min,,, ahhhhhh If we are hungry N all food sold out, we can go crazy🤣 I never drink beer or any alcohol only coffee.hahahaga Can you eat Durain in train? Local or shinkansen? Our train ban. You are the 1st Japanese i write to.
Thanks for the comment ShinShoki ^^ Yes foreigners can buy discounted tickets too😉 But if you are foreigner (traveler), you can buy JR pass as a foreigner, it will be even cheaper though😊
You are very welcome😊 Arigatooooooo for your sweet words🤣🤣🤣! Please share the videos with your friends too, it will really help me to grow my channel🤩 Thank you so much for your support ShinShoki! Ganbarimasu!!!😊😊😊
Thanks for the comment Edgina ^^ I think not so many theater has English subtitle movies in Osaka😅 Let me check it though, maybe some theater would have English subtitle😉!
@@RionIshida Hi Rion :) As always, thank you for putting in so much effort making the videos 🤗 May i know how many days would you recommend for Tokyo if I am going to Osaka for 13 days? Is the shinkansen price the same throughout the year or are there period where they increases the price? 😊
It is my pleasure😊, and thank you so much for watching my video😆! Humm, let me see, to be honest, there are more tourist spots in Tokyo compare to Osaka, so if you want to go to touristic places, maybe you should spend longer time in tokyo, and want to enjoy the local Japan atmosphere, maybe more time in Osaka😉, it really depends how you want to enjoy your trip in Japan😊! Speaking of Shinkansen ticket price, it wouldn't change, so don't worry about it😊!
@@RionIshida Im leaning more towards Osaka as i prefer the vibes in Osaka. More laid back 😁 Maybe i will just visit Tokyo for a future trip instead so that i can have more time in Osaka!!!!🤪😆 thank you for your suggestions 😀 have a great weekend 🤗
Yes, it has totally different vibes in Osaka compare to Tokyo for sure😊! Yup, sounds good😉 in that way, you can feel more Osaka local life😁👍! You are super welcome😆! Thank you, and Have a great weekend too😉!
Tokyoites really not friendly (rude?) unlike other regions..1st time went to Japan last year, been to tokyo,osaka,hokkaido..but tokyoites leaves really bad impression to me..
Yup they do. Osaka also a city but they r more laidback ..even tourist like me can feel it..in Tokyo i feel bad just for asking for direction..but still, i love Japan..
