I’m at a Ryokan in Fukushima call HANA NO YU and they have a very comprehensive Japanese breakfast buffet. Let’s take a look at all the stops! WHERE AM I? HANA NO YU (Ryokan / Japanese style Hotel) goo.gl/maps/6d3FJ7nNmHH2
Wow the food looks really delicious and healthy. It great it has a buffet so you have more choices to have. I would love to stay there. Thanks for showing this John.
I would love to eat that breakfast!! I'm Japanese living in the US. Love Japanese food! Every time I visit Japan we visit Qkamura and enjoy their BF buffet!
Love love love Japanese breakfast buffets. I'm not usually a breakfast person but these buffets make me look forward to breakfast so much. It always brings up relaxed feelings of being on holiday.
The range of food was really good. I find it interesting how different cultures eat and their food rituals etc. This is my first time watching your videos and I've subscribed so I can watch everything you post. Thank you for all your hard work in making this video.
Your Japanese is MARVELOUS. I spent a month a Japan and was able to get my point across reasonably well with a little Japanese, but yours seems flawless.
My favorite breakfast 😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕. I miss tradicional Japanese breakfast, super yummy and healthy 🍚☕️🍵🥛. I had a buffet of tradicional Japanese breakfast twice in my tour last year, I enjoyed to the maximum, specially eating Salmon and grilled Spanish Mackerel (Saba) in the morning 🤤🤤😋😋😋😋. I envy you John, I want to go back soon!!!
That is one of the best videos I have ever seen! I which we had an Onsen spa here in Calif! That would be so great. I could eat that food all day everyday! What a great selection.
Looks yummy:) Japan is #1 on the list for places to stay for me,if not go for a holiday! Clean country, friendly people, up to date with technology, and most importantly some of the best food!!!! At least for me it is:).
When I went to Japan back in October of last year, I had a traditional Japanese breakfast with the grilled fish, the rice, the miso soup, and it even came with natto on the side. While I am proud of myself to say I tried it, it's one of the few things in the world I will never eat again.😝
I LOVE your videos! Very interesting. I could do it for lunch not for breakfast XD i can't eat alot in the morning. Rice and miso soup maybe it looks SO good!!!
Hello from sunny Florida John - we're going through your videos somewhat later than most folks - we've only recently discovered you, so we're playing catch up. You have opened Japan to us and made us want to visit, so thank you for these wonderful vlogs. Well done! One question about this Ryokan, the breakfast in particular (which we would LOVE btw), your comment about the tofu burgers "it's tofu, so it's okay to eat for breakfast." What did you mean by that? Japanese culture fascinates me (my husband says I should have been an anthropologist).
Wow, this was so interesting! I've always wondered about Japanese buffets... especially breakfast. That's some interesting menu items, for sure. Most of which I would never have even dreamed of being served for breakfast. I must say that the rice looked delicious... and those fried potato things. I would've made my own Udon bowl. Definitely one of those soft boiled eggs. Maybe tried some of that liquid potato in a cup. I'm assuming those meatballs were also Tofu? What are the weiners made of?
I would eat EVERYTHING and eat it twice - the saba 4x. Saba nigiri is one of my favorites, along with unagi and hamachi. Unagi donburri is a favorite lunch with a bowl of miso and saba and hamachi nigiri on the side and a gemaicha green tea (with the deep fried puffed rice). So delicious and stays with you for hours. I was lucky twice in my life to work a block from two great little sushi restaurants where I could walk over and have donburri or nabeyaki udon for lunch. A good nabeyaki with my favorite nigiri sides and a Kirin Ichiban is a proper winter lunch.
That why I love Japanese food, it's so healthy and delicious..... I wish someone open Japanese buffet restaurant with food like that in my country -_-!!
Oishiisoooo. I want to visit that Ryokan. The dining hall is so beautiful, and the food looks so good. I can eat a lot of tamagoyaki, it's my favorite. Potato salad, miso soup, ...ohhhhh I love Japanese breakfast :D
Except for natto, I mostly savour Japanese food. The buffet line-up looks super delicious. If it weren’t for COVID-19, I’d be in Japan enjoying the temple scene, restaurants, ryokans and spirit bathing.
I was watching your videos vaguely a few weeks ago. I am watching it again today. Wow, I went to Bandai Atami one week after your stay. Moreover, it is at the hotel which is in line with that series of hotels. surprised.
That Tofu looks so delicious. 😍 I want some of that, but where I live I can't get it. Tofu around here is sadly never so nice and creamy. Gotta visit Japan again soon. 🇯🇵
