Your story about your Dad connected with me. I am trying to live a healthy lifestyle because I saw my Mom's health deteriorate because she didn't eat healthy or exercise. Her quality of life was terrible. I want to set a better example for my children. Thank you for your videos. They are very inspiring!

I feel this too. My best friend and his partner are raising his nephew and I am a part of that process. I consider myself lucky and I see that my focus on health has shifted from wanting to simply feel good and look good to being healthier and alive longer for this little boy. He is 7 and the light of our lives.❤

Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad had bile duct cancer and passed after 2 months of diagnosis. He was only 63 as well. I try my best to eat a healthy vegan diet now, primarily because of that.

I am a cancer survivor. My nutritionist explained to me broccoli sprouts are much more powerful than broccoli by 300%. I grow them at home for pennies. They have very little taste and you only need to eat 2 teaspoons. I was surprised they are easy to grown and easy to eat. I'm still eating the other veggies, beans, and mushrooms.

You're so right that healthy habits (and being healthy mentally and physically) is the most important thing. So many of us (including me) have lost these habits, and it's very important to get them back. I'm so sorry to hear about your father. A friend of mine lost her husband to cancer a few years ago. He was very fit, but he neglected to ever go to the doctor. He went to the doctor finally because his body was acting in a way it shouldn't be, and discovered he had stage-4 cancer. It was a very slow-growing kind, that would have been treatable if they'd caught it at the beginning, but it was allowed to grow for a really long time, until it was too late. I've been (over the past several months) focusing on trying to get away from "western" ideas of breakfast, which has been wonderful, but you're encouraging me to do even better by getting back my healthy daily habits. Thank you!

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad to complications from bladder cancer when he was only 72. He was diagnosed at 62 though. His lifestyle and diet contributed both to him getting the disease and also once he changed his diet to him beating it and living cancer free for another 10 years. As for sleep, I didn't get much sleep when my 3 boys were younger. It does get better once they start elementary school so hang in there. It does take a toll on your body and mind. I grew up in India but I have lived most of my adult life in the US. I have recently begin to explore other asian cuisines seriously. I am beginning to cook Japanese food at home and my journey started with a wonderful okinamiyaki I ate at our local asian fusion restaurant. I absolutely love your recipes and enjoy the content on your channel. Thank you for what you do and keep up the good work.

I really love watching your video on Japanese recipes and lifestyles, eating real food are totally different than eating processed food, and it's totally worth it. I'm also on my journey to eat better for my health and your video inspire me to cook more Japanese food that I love. So far I watch many Japanese households nowadays will eat processed food like a sausage/ hot dog in their daily food intake and it's concerning when we bring it to our table for the kids growing up. Yes, we can eat processed food but maybe not every day and we can make homemade sausage at home, much better. Cheers and have a nice day Miwa!

What a lovely set of tips, and your meals look delightful! I so agree with your suggestion to find movement you ENJOY doing - I've recently begin doing the Japanese morning exercises, which help get the lymph flowing, and enjoy Tai Chi and Breema a bit later. Sneaking veggies in different places, and eating a 🌈 of food is so helpful. I also appreciate foods that help our gut, and ferment and make yogurt using coconut milk!

But after my son was born this year I felt like I need to go back to that and since a few weeks I found a lot of recipes also my husband likes and I just fell in love with cooking again. 😍 Found a lot of Inspiration here in your videos, you are really doing a great job, thank you for sharing your ideas and recipes 🤗

Thanks you for sharing, you are really inspiring. I struggle to find Japanese food where I live (French countryside) but I really want to try more fermented food as well.

I am learning a lot from your sharings, they have been a great inspiration for me since I found your channel. I am also a mom ob2 boys (almost 5 and almost 3) and i am now currently pregnant with our 3rd baby boy. Remembering to be intentional about taking care for myself has been critical, especially in times of confinement due to the corona virus. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experience and would like to see more videos like this one. being a mom and an european I find them very helpful. Thank you 💕💕💕
