I've been looking forward to this one! I can definitely tell you've made a lot of progress since your last iTalki video. Looks like your studies are paying off dude

This video is the first I'm seeing of yours, and just following along with the conversation, I can see that I understand almost all of it. It has been great to measure what I've been learning with listening comprehension. There isn't a lot of basic conversation recorded out there. Thanks for the video! I hope things have only gotten better since this.

Really great, thanks for sharing it, i can' t help, but smile while watching it. I mean just the thought of having a conversation in a language you knew nothing of just a while ago, is really cool. I'm really happy to see your progress, nice work. お疲れでした。

Great video. I'll add that my own iTalki lessons have been fun to do these last three weeks. The main reason I started taking them was due to your last video of an iTalki session. The process was simple and the price reasonable. Definitely something people taking the self study route should consider to supplement their main form of study.

hey homie! you don't need to add totemo with dai because dai is it's own "extremer" i guess you can say. totemo would be used with most anything else you want to say "very" for but suki and kirai have their own version of totemo which is dai so you don't need to couple totemo and dai together :) hope this helps!

Love the channel and your commitment to the challenge! Started learning japanese a couple of weeks ago for no good reason, and been loving it. I found it inspiring to see how processual and logical your approach to learning is. Seems like you spent a lot of time planning it, which is something I hardly ever do as a student of anything. Learning how to be a student is half the fight (or more). Well, がんばって!Go get em. (as a last comment, it would be lovely if some user could sub these!)

So hard to remember the words when speaking huh? It's like they are all there when you hear them or read them, but few come back when speaking lol But I am sure you will build the muscle memory the more you do these :-) I look forward to seeing more :-)

Yes. She also typed all the things that I made mistakes with or didn't understand. So, I make flashcards from all of those mistakes / new words.

you said that speaking with people was about 2%. But i think you should at least try to make 40% speaking. It would be possible to become fluent in japense if you only spoke japense (of course with someone who speaks it) in about 3 months

I don't think that's the case. Anyone who's ever been in his shoes will understand. 100% of your mental focus are directed towards speaking and remembering words and sentences, he probably didn't even realize how cute she is :)
