Hi Gil … some great looking pressings there ! So excited about this new Peter Gabriel album I/O ! Same title as this new tour. He’s been posting lots of studio picks with his band lately ! I still need to check out that Prince album as a whole. I only know the singles. Love those two Van Halen albums ! Cool how they have the VH logo on the 1984 OBI. Tears For Fears has become one of my fav bands of recent years. The new album is my number one of this year. I got the new Simple Minds album . It is really good also. Japanese pressings don’t show up a lot around here and when they do they are very expensive. I would like to do what you do and get Japanese pressings of my favourite albums. Thanks for sharing Gil ! Hi Chez, I'm very excited for the new Peter Gabriel album and tour. I hope I can score a ticket to see him. That would be amazing. I also picked up the new Simple Minds album. Love what I hear so far. The new album from Tears For Fears album this year was so good. Seeing them live was a highlight of my summer for sure. Finding these Japanese pressings was a big score for my collection. These pressings don't come along very often. It's so cool when I find them. Gil those Japanese pressings are beautiful that Duran Duran is killer New Moon on Monday is my cut the only Japanese pre I have is Notorious. Those Police Japanese sound top notch . You save the best for last Rush Moving Picture wow and Farewell to Kings so damn cool those are so stunning Gil i definitely would love to have that one all I have is Signals on Japanese pressing . So many great Japanese pressings I really enjoyed that take care Gil . Lovellandrew
Hi Lovell, New Moon on Monday is such a catchy track. One of the best from DD. The Japanese pressing of that album looks so cool. The Police Japanese pressings were tough to find. I really got lucky on them. Both sound awesome. I could not believe when I found that Moving Pictures album. It was pricey but so worth it. Both Rush albums sound very good and the music is top notch. Thank you such for watching Lovell!
I'm addicted to vinyl and Japanese pressings give me the "ultimate high"! 😁 Buying the 2nd hand Japanese pressings is pretty pain-in-the-aZZ because I don't want to get and have an incomplete pressing. They are expensive around here so they better to be complete! I don't happen to have any of those Japanese pressings that you showed. Out of those my most wanted would be Def Leppard's PYROMANIA. It would cost around 75 USD (75 €uros to be exact) here in Finland. 😑 Definitely their best album! I bought it in June 1984 and loved it ever since. The Japanese pressings don't show up here all that often. So I grab them when I do see them. Pyromania is a classic Def Leppard album. That's the one that got me started on that band. It still sounds great today. Thanks for watching Jarkko!
that Prince album cover is freaking awesome. I'll maintain that it's somewhat solid but some of the songs like America are not worthy. Could have been much better if they waited to release it.
